What are the best places for people to meet in the parks? I want to find a place in each park (2 in Epcot) that my DD8 and DD12 can go if they get separated from us. I also plan to have each of them carry a card with our cell #s on it.

In Epcot we meet our kids either at the fountain at the American Adventure or the fountain near Spaceship Earth.

MK we meet at the Walt and Mickey statue. MGM we meet in front of the giant Mickey scorcers hat and AK we meet at the Tusker House Restaurant.

We usually do the "I'll meet you right back here in this spot in 20 minutes" but somehow ends up with me waiting much longer than that...

It depends. Are you talking about everyone arriving at the park at around the same time - or meeting to leave? If so:

MK: Town Hall end of Main Street.
EP: In front of SE.
MGM: By Sid Cahuenga's (sp) shop to the left after you enter.
AK: Don't know.

Now, if everyone's been in the park for hours, but you're just re-grouping:
MK: The Fantasyland side of the castle
EP: By what used to be the Odyssey restaurant between WS and FW.
MGM: Great Movie Ride plaza.
AK: Don't know.

HTH.

I'm actually thinking of a plan in case one of the girls gets separated from us. I'm planning on telling them to talk to a CM if they get lost, but I thought a meeting place would also be a good idea.

When we go with a group...our meeting places are:
MK....Statue of Walt & Mickey in fromt of the castle or City Hall.
EPCOT....We go to the Disney Gallery store...next to spaceship Earth on the right side of it. SO if you are walking into the park...Spaceship Earth is in front of you...walk to the right of it. It is in the shade & easy spot to meet.
AK....We chose the Camp Minnie/Mickey sign.
MGM....We pick the Sorcerer Mickey hat. Can't miss it.

Just pick large obvious places. Get maps & circle it with a pen...show everyone. Or ask everyone to keep a map on them in their pockets with the circled spot on it. This way you can stop a AM & they will put you in the right direction if not take you there.
