Favorite Loop: 1000,1200,1300

We couldn't get a ressie for the 1400 loop which we thought was the best loop for us w/ our young kids, so I asked a CM what were some other good loops. Response: loops 1000, 1200, 1300 have a little bit easier spots to back into and are pretty nice. These are still relatively close to the campfire and pool for us to bike ride over to. Since there is alot of talk about the biting flies being in the areas near the canals I thought that loop 1200 looked good or part of 1300. Anyone have experience w/ these particular loops?

we like the 1100 & 1200, 1300 is not bad either, our preference in order would be 1100 --> 1200 --> then 1300

We just returned from FW and did not have a problem with flies in the 1000 loop. All 3 loops you have mentioned are among the ones we prefer to stay in.

FYI From May 9 to May 22, WDW is have an EXTRA MAGIC HOURS benefit for WDW Resort guests. Wristbands for 3 additional hours at select parks will be available to allow WDW Resort guests to enjoy the park chosen for that day at no additional cost after that park closes.

The 1200 loop was closed when we just left. They were digging up the sand and clearing roots it looked like ... not major work. Not sure how long it will take. For the record, the 700 loop is major closed. New concrete pads and lots of tree clearing.

We have wanted to try the 1200 loop also, they have some large, easy back sites, and now they have two pull thrus. Funny, we have not seen a large rig in either pull thru our last two trips there, I wonder why they bothered.

Both 1200 and 1300 are nice loops ... to drive thru anyway. We drove thru the 1000 loop also, but don't remember any good or bad points. We have stayed in the 900 loop right next door, and it is across the street from the Meadows trading post and also has some very nice, relatively wide sites.

Remember to have a look at the site book before driving back. You can get a pretty good idea how you will fare backing in.

Did my last campsite bicycle loop on late Sunday and could not believe how empty FW was. 1200 had a few campsites taken and 1900 had 2 sites taken. I figured that they were improving the sites big time in the 700 loop so it would be easier for the big rigs with pets to pull in. We had site 1222 in March and that is one of the easiest to back into even if you have a huge 5er. Last month and this past weekend we were in 1000 loop and it was very nice.

Thanks a bunch! I think we'll ask for 1000 since it seems the flies may not be as bad there ( I have the child w/ allergic reactions). It looks pretty close to the playground in loop 1300 and close enough to the trading post and pool, etc. We have decided to go ahead and go and hopefully not get eat up with bites. I'll keep the little ones covered in long sleeves and pants if I have to while they are riding bikes, but I'm sure we will be at the pool alot. If my allergic one has bad reactions I guess well just have to leave early. I got the screened gazebo yesterday so we can sit in it and be relatively bug free. I'll pack up the arsenal of bug sprays, electronic gizmos and medicines so we'll be ready! Just FYI, we use something called STING EZE to help with the intial bite stings. Since I have only used it on myself for bee stings I don't know how effective it is for itching. I guess we will find out!
