Favorite Longhouse at Poly ????

We like Tokelau. It's convenient to everything and offers nice garden views - even some lagoon views (side view) if you're lucky. It's close to the GCH, TTC, quiet pool, volcano pool, a quiet beach area...it's perfect. All of the rooms have patios or balconys and I think they are all non-smoking.

Hawaii!!! The concierge service cannot be beat, and the view from the lounge is spectacular.

Fiji is our favorite. Garden view price for a water (kind of) view. The Marina is a nice view and on the other the Cove is almost always empty and you can sit out on that beach and watch the fireworks then walk right back to your room in 30 seconds. We loved it and hope to request our same room next time.

Tokelau or Figi...

Tokelau rooms are very large and an easy walk to both TTC and GCH...lovely garden views with the possiblity of a lagoon view for GV room:)

Figi - lovely Marina view or of palm trees..right next door to GCH.

I'd be delighted in either Longhouse :)

We like the Samoa building. Near the GCH, next to the volcano pool and you can see the MK (or at least we could) from your balcony (1st & 3rd floors).

Samoa - we are not so much into the view and only get a garden view room, we go more for the convenience of location. Its just a hop, skip and jump to the volcano pool, quiet pool, steps from the beach to view the fireworks and ewp and right by captain cooks for mug runs and snacks etc. Also during a storm its quick to get back to the room.

Another vote for Tokelau. It was close to the GCH, volcano pool, the quiet pool was right outside the door, and the TTC was not a far walk at all.

We were on the end of the building toward the lagoon. It is LV for GV price!

Definatley will request that building again!

Raratonga if you want a garden room because it's so close to the GCH. Hawaii if you want to go with concierge service. I like Raratonga because when I stayed there for a week in Oct 2002 I had a room that was so close to the entry\exit, it took only a couple minutes to go to the GCH. When you have two small twin boys (age 5 at the time) it was a life saver being close to everything. When I was there in Feb 04 I stayed 1 night at Rapi nui and didn't care for it because of how far away it was from everything. But is there such a thing as a bad stay at the Poly? I'm going back to the Poly in 2005 (4/27 to 5/3) and staying in the Hawaii building for the first time and I can't wait. I've been in the building but never was lucky enough to stay there until now!:bounce: My goal is to stay in every long house the Poly has, so I can say I tried them all. I know that sounds crazy but my family just loves Disney and the Poly, we never go anywhere else.

Fiji, first floor facing the marina! We stayed there in March and it was a perfect location. Paid for Garden view. Great staff there. Was even quiet although the hotel was pretty full. The Poly theme was a little lost on my spouse though and she really prefered AKL (last 2 days). But you can't beat the location.

Love your quote:)MAybe I would change it to every "child" because it would have been a sad life for me without my doglets!! :):):)

TOKELAU!!!

Has to be the best (Shhh!!! don't let everyone know!)

Its the most centrally located, and a quick wall to the TTC, or the GCH.
And you could have an excellent view of the quiet pool.

Planning on requesting this longhouse in a few more months!!
