Favorite Les Chefs de France lunch meals?

We're having lunch at Les Chefs soon and I'd like to ask DIS'ers for their favorite lunch menu items. We've never eaten at Les Chefs.

We had lunch there in Sept. I am a vegetarian and had the mac and cheese. It was just ok, nothing to rave about.

The mac and cheese is fabulous! On my last trip, I ordered the crepe (which I also really like) and my daughter ordered the mac and cheese. I ended up eating much of her lunch and told her that the next time we eat there, she has to make sure I order the mac and cheese.

Chefs de France is my FAVORITE restaurant at EPCOT!

We usually get the fixed prix.. I get the lobster bisque, the macaroni and cheese (to die for!), and their chocolate dessert.

We've always preferred lunch to dinner at Chefs de France. We also love the gratin de macaroni, it's so much better than the typical WDW mac & cheese. The French onion soup and the crepe Florentine (w/out mushrooms) are my son's two favorites. I also really enjoy the assiete campagnarde, it's an assortment of pate's, dried french salami's, cornichons etc.. Nice crispy baguette and a little red wine to go with it all, it's truly reminds me of being in France. The profiterols are good but we're creme brulee lovers and Chefs does it well.

Dinner does not bowl me over but lunch definitively rocks!

Can you describe the chocolate dessert, please? I have lunch reservations there in just over three weeks. It will be our first time to eat there.

I am so happy to read this. I was wondering if I could get it without mushrooms.


Now I have to decide if I would prefer the mac and cheese over the crepe Florentine. I know that DD will order the mac and cheese. I might nibble some of hers and order the crepe for myself.
