Favorite/Least Favorite Christmas gifts? 2010

Hey all!

So what was your favorite and least favorite Christmas gifts?!

My favorites-my camera from DBF and the N64 he found for me . I've been wanting a new one since my dad sold my old one for $5 when I was 16 . I didn't think he heard my ramblings about it, but he ALSO got my favorite game to go with it! The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time . I played it right away and he had to literally pull me away from it I was so excited!

Least favorite: my calendar from my parents....they get me one every year, but it's always of countries (which I love!)...this year they got me one of kittens . It's cute, don't get me wrong, but it's not what I'd call a "fit" for a grown daughter and her DBF in their kitchen . It's still cute though.

So how about you? Anxious to hear!

I know I'm going to sound like a total weirdo, but my favorite gift this year was the Shaklee Get Clean Kit! Oh my god I LOVE IT! I've done so much cleaning since Christmas and actually had fun! I threw away an entire garbage bag FULL of chemically laden cleaners and now only have 4 bottles of cleaner for EVERYTHING!

Least favorite gift was probably what I received in our White Elephant exchange...it was a small George Foreman grill. We have the big Foreman, so I have no use for it whatsoever.

Am also loving the magnifying mirror he bought me, it was the gift I was most looking foward too getting, didn't think he'd get me the bracelet since we were on a budget this year.

Don't really have a least favorite since we exchange Christmas lists with all of our family members DH did get one og those gravity ball thingys though, it's already in the GoodWill bag.

Hmm...do you have any kids who will be moving out soon? Nieces and nephews?

I know we love our little George Foreman makes awesome hot dogs for the kids too!

I don't have any kids moving out soon, BUT I think I'll just put it in my gift tub. There will surely be a wedding/shower/graduation in 2011 that I will be able to use it for.

Well, I thought my favorite gift was going to be the new Canon S95 camera that I wanted. But, he surprised me with a ring from Pandora. It's beautiful and it was a surprise, so that got the favorite spot.

Least favorite was a dollar store Christmas-y dish towel. It will go directly to the Goodwill pile.

My most favorite gift was probably the Burburry(sp?)scarf that my mom got it - I'm not a luxury kind of gal, but it's really nice to get something as luxurious as this scarf.

Guess my least favorite might be a double pie basket my DSis got me. I know she thought it would be a good gift since I'm the piemaker in the family, but I use my Tupperware for transporting pies! Oh well, it's a lovely basket, but I'm not sure where I'm going to store it.

My favorite thing and this may sound odd, but it was my red wagon I have been using it non stop. My next was a brand new laptop. I have an awesome husband.

Favorite: Artist finger puppets from DH. I got five from different famous artists. They are great!!!

Least favorite: citrus juicer. We never juice more than one or two lemons at a time.... never drink orange juice regularly....

Most favorite: Elizabeth Edwards book "Saving Graces"

Least Favorite: It's tie between Bath & Body Works lotion and a utilitarian one-burner hot plate

Favorite - A cushy furry blanket from my parents, Rachel Ray Lasagna Pan and UGG slippers from dh and pedometer/tone reboks from my dd.

Least Favorite - the 2 packages of Neco Wafer dh put in my stocking YUK!!

Favorite - diamond earrings that DH got me. I have been wanting some for years and was totally surprised!

Least Favorite - I don't really have one - yet. We have Christmas with DH's family this weekend, and his mother has given me some unusual gifts in the past.

Favorite: Chronicles of Narnia novels and Leverage season 1 on DVD.

Least: shirt in the wrong size and a DVD I already had (but an honest mistake so no harm meant).

Favorites: Perfume from DH - it's my favorite simply because he got it for me. I wasn't expecting anything since we agreed not to exchange, but he actually went to Sephora and picked me out something. I really do love it.

I have not least favorite... oh, maybe the stinky smelling reeds I got at a work white elephant party.

Favorite: Hmmm...probably Wii Fit Plus. I've been wanting it for a while.

Least favorite: Nothing is coming to mind. Maybe the lighthouse birdfeeder, but I do like it and will use it.

My favorite is the pink sock monkey my mom made me. I collect sock monkeys and I love it.

Least favorite is a velour hoodie I got from my Aunt and Uncle. First off it is a size to small and second it is green which is not my favorite color. They always buy me green tops since they never see me in one. oh well I will return it for something more me which is fine with my uncle.

Favorite: A new iPhone speaker dock for my kitchen from DH. It's small and not a real expensive one, but it sounds so much better than the super small cheapie I was using before, I just wanted to cry when I heard my first Brahms on it. Led Zeppelin is great on it too. : )

Least favorite: Since DH's gifts come home to our house, I will say that the gift to him from his folks was the worst: a big blue dog-bone shaped plastic dog food container. We have two small dogs who would take a month to eat though that thing, and it would take up a half a shelf in the pantry. And it's blue, and dog bone-shaped.
