Do you have a favorite YouTube channel that does great land tour and ride videos?

We've surprised the kids with a Disneyland trip for their Christmas present. We're not going until early May. We haven't been in 7 years and the youngest 2 don't remember much. Our youngest is on the spectrum and will do best (and be more excited) the more he knows about EVERYTHING.

My plan is to introduce through videos a different land every week leading up to our trip.

I like TPMVids a lot. They cover lots of parks, but should have some Disneyland stuff on their channel.

Don’t spoil it! I “protect the magic” by abstaining from watching POVs or Disney streams at least 15 days before I head down to Disney…

While I personally like to stay spoiler free on rides I have not yet experienced, some people feel differently about that. In this case, the kid will be more comfortable experiencing things that he is already familliar with, so the videos can help with that. It's still going to be great to be there and see it in real life.

SoCal Disney Dad and Fresh Baked both do a great job on current events, food, merch, construction updates, rope drop, park closing strategies etc. If you are looking for ride videos, search for POV Matterhorn or whichever rides you are looking for on YouTube.

There are 4 different Fresh Baked “channels” on YouTube.
1) Fresh Baked
2) Fresh Baked Presents
3) Fresh Baked Tour Departing Daily
4) Fresh Baked WDW

The Tour Departing Daily would have the ride POV videos and videos of the parks without dialogue.

For straight ride POVs, I like DocumentDisney and LMG Vids. Also, Disney+ has ride POVs. The nice thing about the official Disney ones is that they overlay the sound. So it’s not just a camera picking up the audio, the official soundtrack is integrated into the video.

As someone who is probably on the spectrum (but not diagnosed), these are the channels I check out to see things. 😊

Yeah, the Disney+ videos are very good and professionally shot with no other guests riding, so they are very good. There are only a few though. I believe they are all the Disneyland versions of rides though.
