I would say my Blendtec (expensive, but worth it - we make smoothies, nut butters, sauces, etc. in it) is number one. $400 at Costco.
Number two is my slow cooker, which I use several times a week ($50). Overnight oatmeal, bean dishes, soups, etc. Just got a new vegan slow cooker cookbook and looking forward to trying some new recipes.
Number three, probably my bread machine. I have my family over every Sunday and always make a fresh loaf of sourdough bread in the machine. I also use it for pizza dough, calzone, cinnamon buns, etc.
Number four, immersion blender. We eat a lot of homemade soup and it is great to be able to puree them in the pot or in the slow cooker.
Number five, food processor. Some things just work better in the food processor than in the Blendtec - for example, making piecrust.

I LOVE my OLD Reverware too! I have the set I bought 35 years ago and a couple pieces from my mothers that must be 50 years old. The new stuff-meh.
They arrived the other day. They seem like they will be just perfect. I really like that they have both dry and wet measurements. Great share!!

denisem said:Glad you like the measuring spoons.Forgot to mention they also have flat bottoms so they lay flat on the counter in order to pour liquids (vanilla, etc.) into the bowls.
