What spot at your resort do you like to just kick your feet up (literally or figuratively) and relax, soak up the atmosphere, etc.?

For me, I have a couple. One is the lobby at the GF. So nice to settle into one of the couches, stretch your legs out and people watch or just gaze up at the magnificent ceiling, all while sipping a drink the waitstaff brought over! (Do they stlll do drink service in the lobby? I hope so!)

The other is the "porch" at the BWI, especially at night when everything is all lit up and reflected off the water.

Who's next?

all the nooks & crannies both inside and outside the Wilderness Lodge & VWL!

Once we stayed at the WL at Christmas. I was wandering around and found this teeny little alcove with a comfy chair and a crackling fireplace. It was deserted. I got my book and read there for a couple hours - loved it!

kick back and relax spot??? at wdw??? never knew it existed.

The Patio or Balcony of whatever resort I'm at....

The rocking chairs on the porch at the Beach Club.

The lobby of Wilderness Lodge

The quiet pool & lobby of Grand Floridian.

The rocking chairs on the porch outside Trail's End in Fort Wilderness.....

The balcony where they have the intimate wedding receptions at the GF.

Rose and Crown and having a cold one watching the people walk by.

We found this place, or one like it on our honeymoon. We thawed out in front of that fire after watching Illuminations in 30 degree weather.

I love to sit in a rocking chair at the AKL fire pit. The aromas from Bomas are so relaxing and comforting to me.

Early morning (6am), a cup of coffee from the Kona Coffee Bar, second floor of the GCH at the Poly, sitting at the big window looking out over the lake, still dark out, watching Cinderella's castle change colors. There're a few CM's getting ready for business, it's just a nice beginning to my Disney day.

At the Poly, we like to go to the beach area behind Tahiti and watch the Ferry go back and forth. Not to mention the other watercraft and the monorail. There's a hammock and lots of chairs out there, and it's rarely crowded.

When we stay at YC/BC, we like to get a waterview room and sit on the balcony and watch the world go by down on the Boardwalk. Sounds lame maybe, but it's a great "balcony" resort.

We don't stay at FW, but we do visit often. We usually go every trip and we either walk on the trails, canoe, or just visit the horses and the petting zoo area. Yes, we are big kids. FW is truly a hidden treasure. Oh, I forgot...we like the hay ride and the campfire singalong too.

The campfire singalong at FW. The beach at FW watching the water light parade. My campsite early in the morning before anyone else is up.

Fort Wilderness, Crockett's Tavern, after 9 pm, best served pizza and pitchers of beer.

I agree with the rocking chairs at Crocketts tavern at Ft Wilderness in the evening with a cold beverage and getting a cup of coffee from the Boardwalk Bakery and sitting in a lounge chair on the beach at the Beach Club and watch the day come alive!
