Tell us about an amazing beach that you've visited outside of the U.S. Pictures would be great if you have them!

My beach off my back porch? Convenient amenities and never crowded. Most days there is no one there but me. :)

For more public offerings add Rum Point, Smith Cove, or Seven Mile Beach here in Grand Cayman. Rum Point is a nice spot with lots of shade and shallow water which is great for the kids. Smith Cove has some narrow sandy spots tucked between the ironshore rocks. Seven Mile Beach is a classic ribbon of sand that seems to just disapper into the distance.

On the Caribbean islands of Nevis is Pinney's Beach which is the home of Sunshine's Beach Bar. Be wary of their signature drink the Killer Bee. The beach really is beautiful, even though you may not recall much of your visit there.

Simpson Bay on St Maarten is absolutely gorgeous! The rather peculiar attraction is airplane watching. The planes come in very low across the beach to land at the airport across the road. The beach bars post a list of scheduled arrivals.

The beach at the Tamarind Beach Resort in Canuoan in St Vincent & the Grenadines is a quiet and beautiful beach. This is a perfect spot for a honeymoon or romantic getaway.

We enjoyed Megan's Bay in St. Thomas--beautiful beach and view and such clear water! Some shade available and limited water sports.

In Cozumel we went to a beach club called Nachi Cocum--not crowded, great service and food, water activities.

In Ochos Rios and Grand Caymen we went to a resort for the day. Not crowded again, clear water, shade, water activities available.

Not really international since the USVI's are a U.S. territory but any beach on St John...

My avatar is Cinnamon Bay beach.

I've been to alot of international beaches but the ones I like the most are the ones that don't have names;) the out of the way, no facilities, take the dirt path through the wooded area type-beaches! As for islands with the best beaches I think St. John and Isla Mujeres have the best!

I don't have photos but I remember one of the prettiest beaches I ever visited was in Corfu, Greece. Cozumel Mexico was nice too.

We have really enjoyed the Virgin Islands-U.S. and British. St. John has some amazing little cove beaches that have marvelous snorkeling - Waterlemon Key, Maho Bay, Mary's Point, Francisco Bay. Most people have been to Trunk Bay which is bigger and beautiful but pretty heavily used by cruise ships and tourists. Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas is stunning. The beaches around Akumal, Mexico are gorgeous. Ixtapa has fabulous beaches. I love Negril's beach on the upper side, stay at the Charela Inn!!!

So true, on our second visit to St John we stopped at Salt Pond Bay after hiking up to Rams Head and it was SO peaceful and quiet, a handful of people there at most...that's what I love about St John...so many beautiful beaches to choose from beyond those that the cruiseship passengers flock to.

Not really international, but Trunk Bay in St. John is GORGEOUS.
I forget the name, but the beach I went to on Grand Cayman was nice.

I also LOVE beachs on the Med. Viareggio in Italy, Giardini Naxos in Sicily, and Nafplia in Greece are three beaufitul beaches I went to while abroad. :)

DH and I had a great time at the Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa situated on the 12 mile Grace Bay Beach. Sorry no pictures. Hopefully I will get to go back there someday.

Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda. Pink sand, intriguing rock formations and little nooks and crannies to feel like you are all alone.

We honeymooned in St. John and went to Salt Pond Bay. We were the only people on the beach. When we went into the water to snorkel we saw a small nurse shark right up by the shore. We decided there was not enough bait in the water for us and decided to find another place to snorkel.

Yikes that's a little scary. They're not known for attacking humans but there have been a few incidents. Good eyes that you saw it.
