What are some of your favorite rides to pre-order fastpasses for when you're just starting your trip? I need ideas, and also relating to which favorite rides need fastpasses more than others.

I HAVE downloaded the app, but haven't used it yet. It's too early.

Touringplans has some good recommendations by park. Your choices depend on your interest and ages. Here is our family preference:

MK: 7DMT, splash, BTMRR (also PP, space)
EP: TT (tier 1), spaceship earth, mission space
Ak: we'll do a new pandora ride, safari and dinosaur
HS: We only do 1/2 day here and generally w/o fast passes. Toy Story is our fave.

It really depends on what you like and do not like, I do not like to get wet so I will not do splash. Do not like to do a lot of 3d things so star tours and TSMM would not work for me. I do for the most part like fast things so RNR would be one I would FP.

I would look over the rides and maybe youtube them then see what rides look most fun for you to do and FP those. You may like slower rides, dark rides extra.

It's personal preference but 7DMT is a solid one since it consistently has the longest lines in the park. Pandora stuff and/or ROL in AK mainly because it's new so there's a high demand. Safari in AK can get long as well. TSM in Hollywood Studios used to be a must, but with the addition of the 3rd track, lines have dropped considerably. In EPCOT it used to be Soarin' was the must, but those waits have dropped with the additional bay. Frozen's craziness has dropped off a bit. TT has single rider, but that can be a solid one too if you want to ride with multiple people.

Thank you again! I posted this on this thread because although I didn't say it specifically, I am choosing these to help accommodate my disability on this trip. Wanting to know the longer lines at WDW (I'm used to DLR) so that I can know how/where to start so that I don't get stuck very symptomatic unnecessarily. I guess it could be answered on either board!

I'm in a wheelchair among other things, and one of the reasons is severe POTS (dsyautononia) and CFS -- the heat makes it all so, so much worse. It also causes extreme physical pain at times. For my psychiatric issues especially, I think I'll be able to get a DAS which will help (I've looked into this on this board and elsewhere for a very long time) but I just want to plan smartly so that I don't do myself in by poor planning.

Take care!
