Favorite ice cream in WDW

Where/what is your favorite ice cream in all of WDW? We love ice cream, and I would like to know if there is somewhere new we should try on our next trip. Here is where we've been:

- France in Epcot - this is our favorite place so far. I love the unique flavors and my DDs love the mint chip.
- Beaches & Cream - we've had the kitchen sink.
- Ghirardelli in DTD/Disney Springs

I've heard about Ample Hills Creamery at the Boardwalk, so we may give it a try.

Oh goodness where do I start! LOL
-Strawberry azuki bean ice cream at Katsura Grill
-Soft-serve at booth in France (where they serve crepes)
-Any place with a Mickey bar!

My favorite by far is the soft serve in France. It's the creamiest, I've tried them all!!!!

I also enjoy the sundaes at Beaches and Cream, the Plaza and Ghiradelli's, but you can't beat the soft serve or the price in France.

Ghiradelli. I need to try the gelato in France and the new Ample Hills at the Boardwalk.

- The Andapur Ice Cream truck in Animal Kingdom near EE...it's soft serve ice cream served in waffle cones
- The Main Street Ice Cream Parlor...love the ice cream sandwiches there, you can pick the flavor of ice cream that is put between 2 huge chocolate chip cookies.
- Beaches and Cream...No Way Jose Sundae is the best sundae out there

Check out Sprinkles in Disney Springs.

They have some novel flavors, like Cap'n Crunch. You can also get ice cream sandwiched between one of their cupcakes.

I wish there were such a thing as a premium Mickey bar, instead of a "marketing puffery premium" Mickey bar.

Ice cream aficionados are like whiskey aficionados, taking their preferred substance straight-up, with a minimum of contaminants. I'm looking forward to trying out Ample Hills, but in the meantime, Ghiradelli is the best I've had on site. I may have to try France again and pay more attention. Though once I've had my fill of B&J's at USO, I may not be satisfied with anything at WDW.

Did I mention that "aficionado" is just a fancy word for snob?
