Red Velvet Cake Ice Cream. Sweet but not too sweet

Is this available in stores? I love Maggie Moo's Red Velvet Cake ice cream, but I've never seen any that's commercially made that you can buy in a half gallon (or as a lot of ice cream companies have created, 1.5 qt.) container. I've had the Red Velvet yogurt and it's ok, but an ice cream I can buy without dealing with the attitudinal chick at MM's would be awesome!

ETA: The Google tells me that Publix has a premium version of this ice cream. I don't have a Publix within 50 miles of where I live. I'll go sulk now.

Ice cream is my life! My two all-time favorites are cookies & cream and mint chocolate chip. Dreyer's has an Drumstick Cone flavor (picture Nestle Drumstick pieces mixed with chocolate swirls and peanuts) that is to die for!
Dreyer's also has some seasonal selections that are awesome!

omg, there's this place on the way to Belfast ME called John's. They make all of their ice cream from scratch, and one of the flavors USED to be called almond joy (they changed it to chocolate almond coconut or something). It's chocolate ice cream run through with coconut flakes and almonds... omg my mouth is watering just TYPING about it!!

If you're ever in Maine you should find this place and try it out. If you love Almond Joy, this is like heaven on a cone.

Where is John's? I get to Belfast every couple of months......

Mint Chocolate Chip from Whitey's (Iowa/Illinois chain)
Peanut Butter shake from Whitey's
Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl with Yummy Yummy Sauce from Strachan's Homemade Ice Cream in Dunedin, FL. -- quite possibly the best ice cream on the planet. I always eat way, way, way too much when I visit my parents down there.

Tillamook Ice Cream - Udderly Chocolate, though I hate that name. It used to be called Brown Cow. Milk chocolate and white chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks. Love it in a waffle cone!

Mint Chocolate Chip, although it must be green, white mint chocolate chip is just too confusing for my brain , after that it's Spumoni.
Yet there is something to be said about plain unadulterated chocolate ice cream

Breyer's Banana Cream Pie is my new favourite, but a very close second is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour on Main St in the Magic Kingdom. I've never found one that comes close to being as good

Usually I stick with low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt, but I definitely have a craving for Ben and Jerry's Creme Brulee icecream once in a while. It's super sweet, but absolutely amazing.
