Favorite Holiday Resort?

My family is planning on taking a trip this December (probably the first week in December to avoid the crowds) for the first time during the holiday season.
For those of you who have been (or those of you who haven't yet )~ Where did you stay?
Would you stay there again?
Why or why not?

If you had your choice, where would you stay?

We have stayed at the WL during the Thanksgiving holidays which mark the beginning of the Christmas season. It was breathtaking. When I chose the WL it was for a queen bed and a reasonable price. It did not disappoint. We love the "all under one roof" access to rooms, restaurants, food court, and mercantile. The expanse of the lobby is just perfect for the majesty of the towering Christmas tree. It was really special.

As for the decorations, they were breathtaking. We also visited the Grand Floridian. That has a full size gingerbread house. Wow! Really special to view.

The only other exposure I have to resort holiday decorations was a special the Travel Channel ran. Disney does the holidays in a big way! AK had a special African village. The Beach Club was also featured.

I will be there the end of November. I can hardly wait!

Just bumping this up b/c we are still undecided here
Looking for possibly AKL for the 1st night (to go to AK on the first full day) then transfer somewhere else....

Wilderness Lodge!!! We stayed there this past Dec and loved it. We visited AKL, CR, BWI and GF to check out the holiday decorations and we liked WL the best.
