Favorite "hidden jewel" eatery?

  • Trail's End @ Ft. Wilderness - most reasonably priced buffet on property (no characters)
  • Earl of Sandwich @ Downtown Disney - love the All American (w/o tomatoes), and I just heard they have a new "brownie sandwich" type dessert that I gotta try
  • Sassagoula Floatworks @ Port Orleans - French Quarter - at dinner, they've got the best ribs available at any counter service on property... no contest!
  • Kringla Bakeri og Cafe @ Norway Pavillion, Epcot - personally, I love the lefse, and many others love school bread (which I thought was at least decent too)

Olivia's at OKW
Bakery in France (Epcot)
Earl of Sandwich (DTD)
Grand Floridian Cafe (GF)
Narcoosse's (GF)

Another vote for Kona. It's very under rated and not mentioned all that much. The atmosphere isn't anything great but the food is top notch.

Pepper Market at CSR is a great counter service especially on the dining plan.

I, like Sydneysmom, also loved Boatwrights but since they removed all of my family's favorites (crabcakes, onion soup, ribs, and the steak) we no longer enjoy it.

I love that there is such a variety here. I love to hear what other people enjoy.

I was reading through all the threads and was thinking... somebody has to say Olivias!

We were on dining plan last year and ate at Le Celliers, Ohanas, Teppan Edo, and our favorite was Olivias!!

The kids meals are great too!

Il Mulino inside the swan! It is, by far, the best Italian restaurant in Disney World. Its not a part of the DDP but it is so worth it! (Also they're super great with celebrations-we got free desert and tons of free drinks!)

Riverside Mill food court at POR is the best! The choices are awesome, lots of seating, and the view is beautiful. It's part of what keeps us going back time and time again. Kudos to Riverside Mill!:cheer2:

We love Earl of Sandwich in DD, The Plaza in MK and we are looking forward to trying Kona on our next trip in Sept!!!

I tried Shutters on my last trip and really liked it. I had a plantain crusted red snapper that was so good. Restaurant wasn't crowded and the service was great.

I also like Tangerine Cafe in Morocco.

The Plaza and Kona Cafe!! No problems ever getting ADR's either!!

These used to be my 2 gems until Kona removed Prime Rib from the menu. :sad2: The Plaza is still up there.

Thanks for the info was down there several weeks ago and as far as italian Tutto was a disappointment for us.
