Favorite "hidden jewel" eatery?

Cape May Cafe Buffet dinner. So yummy and lots of choices!

Captains Grille at Yacht Club

Starring Rolls in DHS - one of the few places in disney you can get a bagel

Wolfgang puck express is great too

Not sure how hidden this is but Beaches and Cream is great. They have the unique ice Cream choices but the food is great too. How many places in the World have a hot dog with bacon?

we randomly discovered restaurant marrakesh in our last trip and loved it. the food was so flavorful.

also tusker house, though the service was only so so, we LOVED the food.:cloud9:

Kona Cafe (great food, wings to die for, good OOP prices), Citricos, and Narcoosees would fall into this category in my book. All great places that are easy to get a rezzie for.

call me crazy, but I always thought that Boatwright's at POR was awesome. They used to have a fantastic breakfast, but no more. But the dinner is wonderful !! I never hear anything about Boatwright's on the boards.... I can't be the only one that likes it !! :lmao:

I suspect that once I try it, it will be Shutters at Port Royale. It's pretty much completely overlooked, but the sparse mentions I've read of it have all been raves.

I see a few have mentioned Starring Rolls Cafe at DS. We love to eat our first meal of the day there. It lets you sense the pace of the park before getting into the flow of the crowd.

And we are so sorry they no longer have Smoked Salmon w/ CC and capers! We miss that delightful treat! Please bring it back!

I concur with PPs' votes for Kona Cafe, which has been our go-to first meal when we arrive on our family trips, and Tusker House in AK, which is one of the other few places that we have "repeated" on our trips. Tusker House has good food and a great staff, some of the nicest CMs we've encountered.

Grand Floridian Cafe and Captain's Grille are both awesome, easy to reservations for, and consistantly good.

Yes. POR has an awesome breakfast, it is sad that it went away. I wonder why, as when we went it was always full. We would do that on every trip at least once. Tokyo Dining is awesome, and it great for our kids who love maki rolls.

It's not very "hidden", but I don't hear a ton about it - we needed to replace an ADR that we missed while were there January of 2009 and San Angel Inn had seating, so we went there. We absolutely LOVED it and deemed it the best meal we'd had at WDW so far! Hoping to go back in November. :cloud9:

Tangerine in Epcot. Love the combo platter -- the times we've been there it's been pretty empty but the food is good and the sitting area outside is very nice.

Starring Rolls in DHS. Whenever someone asks about good CS in DHS, it takes a while for anyone to mention Starring Rolls. Good sandwiches, great desserts.

I agree completely...this would have been my response. I think people get turned off by their lack of selection and that they dont serve dinner. It gets my vote tho, I am a huge carnivore but I love the Vegie Pita.
