Favorite Girl Scout cookies?

Had to vote for the Thin Mints, because I've never had the others. The cookie sale here was in November. Got mine just before Thanksgiving. (Still have some left; froze them.) We had some different ones: lemon sandwich cookies (low fat), some with chocolate and animals on them, and Peanut Butter Patties (w/chocolate; these are my real favorite).

Hope they have some of the ones listed here in my area next year. They sound good!

I am SO envious! We only have the traditional 1/2 box chocolate, 1/2 box vanilla and full box of mint here!

Thin Mints but I have found a substitute...Oreo mint creme are almost an identical flavor and I can get them year round...

Thin mints are my favorite and have been my favorite since 1957, the year I sold my first box. We went door to door back then. Nowadays, the brownies and girl scouts are laying in wait at Krogers and other grocer stores. I don't think I've ever had a brownie or girl scout come to my door.

Thin Mints! Impossible to just eat one. I think they sell them here in March? I know the girls and their Moms are at the local discount stores with a table set up around that time.

I am cookie mom for our troop too, and it's interesting how things are so different. We have different cookies (or at least different names) than you, and our cookie go day isn't until January 18th. Someone mentioned missing the lemon cookies, we have Lemon Pastry Cremes here, are those the ones you meant??

What the heck are all these flavours? I must really be living in the back 40. All I know is that there are the vanilla cookies ( the best), chocolate cookies ( pretty darn good) and the mint cookies. ( The absolute worst. Not just worst Girl Guide cookies, the worst)

Looks like I'm missing out.

Hi!As a Mom/leader thanks for buying a box or two of cookies.I also am the Cookie Mom,we start off this Wednesday.The girls are biting at the bit.To answer the question a few posts back.You don't see many Scouts going door to door anymore.The "big brass" of scouting discourages this.They feel in this day and age neighborhoods aren't as safe as they used to be.So you see more"cookie booths" around town.The girls are not aloud to sell without an adult with them,only go to houses when you know the people.Safety is pushed very hard with the girls before they begin selling.So the fond memory of the little girl in her scout uniform pounding the pavement is fading away.

My favorite is Peanut Butter patties AKA Tagalong.
