What are your favorite gift shops at the DLR?

Our current favorite is the Indiana Jones gift shop, because my DS7 is a HUGE Indiana Jones fan.

I'm asking this because I think there are gift shops we've overlooked when visiting the parks and I'd like to know more about them.

The Emporium and World of Disney. Also the Disney Clothiers, Ltd.

Star Trader is a favorite of mine. I love the Star Wars theming and I worked there while in high school...a long, long time ago.
I like Disney Vault 28 and WOD.

I love the one in DCA with the train. Its just fun to walk around in.

And the, now I believe closed, Magic shop.

You mean the magic shop in Disneyland on main street right? It's still open. Went in it about a month ago and stopped to glance at some puppets near the entrance just this passed weekend. It's definitely interesting...makes me think of the one in Pee Wees Big Adventure.

We always duck in the magic shop! Such fun. Honestly, I feel like the OP, I've done my fair share of shopping at DL but I'm sure I've missed quite a few shops.

I love the Mad Hatter because the Cheshire cat appears and then disappears in the mirror!

I love all the unique gear at Ramone's House of Body Art. And I always have to stop in for a visit to the Crystal Shop in NOS. My DD and I like to linger over all the beautiful things there. Sometimes they will still have an artist doing glass etchings, but I have not seen anyone blowing glass or sculpting in hot glass for a long time. They used to have a regular glassblower there and on Main Street if I remember correctly. That was a magical thing for a kid to watch.

Off the Page at DCA. Amazing store. They have the animator there that will draw you a picture. They have a lot of vinylmations and a vinylmation trading box.

They have all that amazing artwork.

We got a Jungle Cruise Adventureland poster there last trip that is the inspiration for creating our own 'adventurer's bar' at home.

And I believe the display windows outside had costumes from the tv show 'Once Upon a Time'.

My favorite shop, and sorry, can't remember the name right now, is the little gift shop inside PPH. It's small, almost always empty, and usually has everything I'm looking for.

The Adventureland gift shops from the land entrance to Bengal BBQ--because cutting through them is the fastest way through Adventureland on a crowded day!

Disney Clothiers, Ltd. - because I don't do cheesey character clothing and light up shoes I always appreciate the selection at Disney Clothiers, Ltd. on main. Over the years I have made some nice purchases including an understated Mickey tie for DH. Aloha shirtsf or DH and DS. They usually have a few more tailored or pretty options.

I also often find something in that trading post shop across from the shooting range. And DS does like those shops by Indiana Jones and Jungle Cruise and always swings in there.

The Magic Shop - for many years DS spent most of his spending money there.

The Grand has a little gift shop that always has a few nice things.

The shop outside Grizzly River Rapids.

And finally my new fav is to go to DTD World of Dis which is a great option for first or last day and you don't have to waste park time. They can basically get anything from any of the other shops.

Oh, so many!

I love the little shops through the winding streets in New Orleans Square.
The crystal shop there sometimes has little finds that they don't carry on Main Street.
- The shop of which I don't know the name that carries Dooney and Burke's as well as other adult-geared, Disney-themed merchandise - oh the money I have spent there! LOVE that shop.
- The perfume shop
- Others that I can't think of, but wander through them. They're fantastic!

The Magic Shop on Main Street - love popping in there for entertainment and to buy a new trick every now and then.

Disneyana on Main Street for wonderful Disney collectibles

...And the, now I believe closed, Magic shop.

It used to be run by Disney. Two years ago (maybe three?) it was taken over by Houdini's Magic Shop, which still runs it today. It closed for a very brief window when the shop was changing hands. The magicians that work in that shop now are not Disney cast members, but Houdini's Magic Shop's employees. Yeah, I've spent a little time (and money) in there. LOL! pixiedust:

My son would love the shop in DCA with the train. Do you remember it's name or location?

I think the store is Imaginears, but with the renovation of Buena Vista St in CA, I think the train is no more. I'm not sure if the store itself is still there under a different name, as I haven't been to CA since they completed their revamping of CA. My fav stores are the Emporium, WOD, and Pieces of Eight.

My favorites are Marceline's in DTD, the Disney Store in DTD and Off The Page in DCA and the Crystal shop on Main Street. I got a beautiful leather bound diary in Off The Page last March and just saw them last week. Then I also got a Character drawing of Thomas O'Malley and Duchess last september, and just bought a wine glass with my name engraved on it last week. Love to meander around the shope in the parks!
