Hello everyone! I'm an uber planner and am already scoping out menus for all the different restaurants that I plan to eat at during my first Disneyland trip this October. I'm definitely planning on getting a reservation for the WOC Carthay Circle lunch time, but I'm wondering what are your favorites dishes from this menu? I need suggestions and to which dishes come highly recommended. Also, if anyone has pictures of these dishes, I'd love to see them. Thanks!

It's worth noting that the menus for Carthay Circle to change seasonally. It's mostly the accompaniment that vary with the season, but sometimes whole dishes do change to reflect the current season.

That being said, my favorite item at Carthay Circle are the house biscuits.

The Carthay Signature Fried Biscuits were my DH's favorite part of the meal. He also had the Fire Cracker Duck Wings, and was very disappointed. He likes things super spicy and they were pretty bland. I had pot roast, but it's not currently on the menu. It was spectacular!

Correct me if I am wrong, but to my knowledge, none of those things are on the current WOC lunch menu, or are they?

Oops! Haven't looked at the menu lately...... We ordered as the appetizers on our last trip (2012).

Pretty sure the biscuits are on both the lunch and dinner menus. The most recent Carthay menu I was able to find online was at least a year old but showed the duck wings as a lunch appetizer too.

but I am referring to the prix fixe WOC menu that OP was talking about. I can only find versions from last year and before, and as of then, both of those items were not available sadly:guilty:

The last WOC menu that I saw didn't include the firecracker duck wings or biscuits as an appetizer. I'm going in June and was thinking I might order the biscuits anyway and take the extras back to my hotel room.

Ah, whoops. You are right. If you get WoC dining and still want the biscuits, you have to add them as extra at an additional cost.

I did the WOC lunch in December and started with their seasonal salad - It had apple slices, walnuts, arugala, etc. It was very good! For the entrée I ended up just having the burger but it and the fries that came with it were tasty. For dessert I had the pineapple semifredo and THAT was amazingly good! Everyone else in my party also really enjoyed what they ordered but I can't remember what all they had.

We also ordered a side of the biscuits since they were sadly not on the WOC menu, and it's definitely worth the additional cost! They were wonderful.

Hi,

I loved the dessert that I got last time. The pasta dishes are pretty good. Even though, it is not on the WoC menu, my favorite thing at Carthay Circle is the fire cracker duck wings. When my family did the WoC package last time we paid extra so I could get the duck wings! I also love the fries that come with the burger on the WoC menu.

please tell me about the fries.... I used to go to Award Wieners for the french fries alone, they were amazing, I am so sad they don't have them anymore...

Hi adSimba,

The fries at Carthay Circle are amazing. The fries are duck fat fries. The fries came with the burger on the WoC menu . They are so good! In fact, the next time I go I might see if I can just get a side order of the duck fat fries without the burger.

I'd like to try the Biscuits, has anyone successfully tried substituting 2 appetizers for 1 order of biscuits on the WOC lunch menu?

So you can't get either the Biscuits or Fire Cracker Duck Wings with the WOC Dining package from CC. You have to order them separately. I know this because we do order those exact 2 things on the side.

You cannot subsitute items on the WOC menu. You just have to order any other items on the side and pay.

As Figment said, the menu changes seasonally. And I suspect it may change a bit after May 22nd.

I wonder if you told the chef the pepper bacon would be to spicy if they could put normal bacon on my son's burger? Any one know? The duck fries sound so good

Was there last week the Ceviche appetizer was amazing!!! We had two 14 year olds with us, one was a very picky eater and she enjoyed it as well!! I had the ravioli. Yummers! Waited for our table at the bar downstairs. Can you say Gin and Tonic? Yes please ☺️

When we asked about this a couple months back, they said they don't keep regular bacon in the kitchen.
