We have an ADR for Tony's Town Square and am wondering what is good there. What is your favorite appetizer, entree, or dessert? I love to think about what I am going to order at each restaurant long before I get there!

We really enjoyed Tony's on our last trip, It turned out
to be the best food all week. I had thought of cancelling before
our trip because of the bad reviews but it was wonderful.

We ate:
Appetizers:
Butternut Squash Soup (the best-- am still craving it)
DS--had breadsticks (good
DH--had the Spinich dip (he liked it)

Entree's:
Salmon (very good)
N.Y. Strip Steak (DH loved it)
White Pizza (DS really enjoyed it)

Deserts:
We had the Triple Dessert plate
Cannolis (good)
Tirrimisue (I misspelled it--this was yummy!!!!)
Cheesecake (least fav.)

Don't get scared away by any of the reviews!!!
We had the best meal of our trip at Tony's.
I just wouldn't order the average foods like Spaghetti.

I liked the cannelloni when we ate there in may...my husband and daughter liked the NY Strip steak...although, like I told them, it IS an ITALIAN restaurant!!! Oh yeah...the amaretto cheesecake is WONDERFUL too!! Have fun and eat MUCH!! :thumbsup2

Good question! I was wondering the same thing. We've decide to give Tony's a try on our 1st evening. It's the only MK restaurant we haven't eaten in, & I've always loved the theming. Bad reviews have kept us away, we're kind of food snobs, but we've decided to go for it anyway. The lunch menu actually appeals to me more, but we'll be there for dinner. I like pastas in cream, white wine, or butter sauces, basically the light sauces, & don't really care for tomato sauces. The Bianca Flatbread for lunch looks great too. I wonder, if you can get that at dinner. :scratchin

My husband and I split the spaghetti and meatball entree (they divided the portion in the kitchen before bringing it out!) We each ordered our own salad and they give you bread and oil to dip it in. My son like fetticini alfredo but it wasn't on the child's menu but they were able to bring him a child's portion of chicken fetticini alfredo and he gobbled it up! :)

The funny thing was we had ADRs for an 11:30 Lunch and
were given Dinner Menus (I don't think the NY Strip in on Lunch?)
but my DH ordered it off of the Lunch menu.

They didn't even give us a choice of just one item
for dessert but went ahead and brought out the Triple dessert for
each person (the triple dessert contained all 3 desserts on the menu on one plate). We were able to sample each dessert but only really ate one of our favorites because I could not fit anymore.
I thought that was different but loved it.

The chicken fettucini sounds right up my alley. Is that on the menu now? I didn't see it on the Allears menu.

My best friend and I both love the Chicken Parmesan hero. . .the only problem is that it was too big! :teeth: Can't wait to have it again soon! :teeth:

Thanks so much for your replies! That triple dessert plate sounds awesome so I think I'll go for that for sure! I also love steak so I may go with SGMCO's suggestion and try that. I am so glad to hear positive reviews about Tony's - - we will be eating there for supper on our first full MK day. Can't wait!

FYI, the "triple dessert" is not on the menu anymore. This past September, when free dining was offered, a lot of restaurants simplified their menu so that the kitchen could keep up with the demand (normal lunch=250 guests, free dinning lunch=700 guests). Tony's had an "all day" menu (that's why there was a strip steak for lunch). You can still get the cheesecake or tiramisu, but they're much bigger portions and seperate now.

The menu may have changed since we were there in Nov 2006, but there was this walnut layer cake (I think with lemon icing) that was so delicious and different than the usual cheesecake or chocolatey type desserts. I was so stuffed I could only manage a bite but it was very good.

DH and I enjoyed our lunch there. Salads, Baked Ziti (for DH), spaghetti for me. Good and filling ... but the dessert was outstanding. :thumbsup2
