Favorite Epcot Dining

so this was posted in 2006...any tips from recent visitors?

I didn't even remember posting on this thread. It was so long ago. I just posted on another thread about dining and thought the response was to that post.

So 2 years later...would you say Le Cellier is still your favorite?

I was very disappointed with Coral Reef. I would not feel the need to go back! We did the personalized menu which was nice, and we had the diver...however you could not see the sign, the food was ok and the service was just not good!

We really loved the morracan counter service we had. that was so yummy!

Garden Grill was ok.... you definately don't go there for the food!

We've experienced Germany, Japan, Mexico and U.K.

I'd have to say of those Teppan Edo was our favorite.

LeCellier is one of our favorite 1TS locations overall (not just in EPCOT). We have ADRs there for our trip in Nov.

I haven't been to Coral Reef in a long time (last time we were there they were still serving whole lobster). It used to be one of our favorites however it hasn't gotten great reviews lately.

Le Cellier, love it, even if it is somewhat cave-like in atmosphere. Jun/08
Marakkesh, I love cous-cous what can I say. Jun/08
Bistro de Paris, all time fave, still a little french girl at heart! Jun/08
Coral Reef, great lobster Aug/07 (Some of the posts are negative, don't know)

I've never eaten at the Garden Grill, but sounds interesting! Where is it?

We've only been to 3 TS in Epcot--LeCellier, Coral Reef and the Storybook Breakfast in Norway. LeCellier was really good--we had perfect service and the food was great.
Honestly though, I'd pick Tangierine Cafe over the 3 of them! ;)

We were just in Disney this past week. We ate at 2 places in Epcot.... a character meal at "Garden Grille" in the Land and "Le Cellier" in Canada.

Of course, the kids loved the characters at the "Garden Grille"..(a pic is to the right). They serve the meal "family style". I would best describe the food as similar as to what we have called "Country Buffet". It was a Thanksgiving type meal....turkey, cranberry, stuffing, potatoes. The place slowly revolves while you eat which I didn't like that. I felt it moving and I get motion sickness easily. When it comes to food, everyone has their opinion. I thought it was mediocre(at best) and would not plan to go back.

We thought Le Cellier's food was good. The atmosphere fits the castle vibe. My hubby had a tasty filet mignon. I had mushroom raviolli and we both had nice casear salads, there was a decent wine list, good bread. Just more the type of dining we prefer...and so I would recommend this restaurant.

Mu DH and I were at Epcot on Thursday, October 16th. We had lunch at Tutto Italia. The service was great and the food was very very good. We started off with their meatball appetizer - it's bite sized meatballs in marinara sauce - I had the ravioli and he had pasta with sausage - everything was super yummy. We shared their tiramisu and a cappucino. The wait staff was excellent and very friendly.

We had dinner at Le Cellier - our server was very nice - we had the ice wine which was so good! We shared the spicy sausage with polenta appetizer - my DH had the NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and I had the mustard chicken with mashed potatoes and a side of their wild mushrooms. People - if you like mushrooms you must get this as a side - they are the best mushrooms I have ever tasted. You will not be sorry. No dessert as we were super stuffed.

If you can get an ADR you should definately try one or both of these restaurants. Good luck and have a woderful trip.
