favorite dvc resort for adults

One point to consider: If you are buying points at a resort you are looking for an adults only trip, you may wish to consider buying at BWV. You can usually get a villa at OKW or SSR pretty easily at the 7-month mark so staying at those resorts should be easy. Getting in at BWV at 7-months may be more difficult so you may consider buying at BWV for the ability to book at 11 months. Buy at the resort you wish to stay at the most so you have this advantage and take the risk at the 7-month mark with all the others.

We did adults only last year at SSR and really enjoyed it. I believe SSR or OKW would be great for this as well, although I did enjoy having the sofa in the studio at SSR.

We also agree the 11 mo. book for BWV makes this choice a lot easier. All we need to do know is get our trip in at HHI this week and we should be able be move forward with the add on selection!

we haven't been to HH, but have stayed at most of the WDW DVCs....and there is nothing like BWVs

there is simply no other resort that has both the variety and quantity of relaxing and exciting activities, all within walking distance of 2 parks....it's an amazing resort

I would pick HHI simply b/c of the need for the 11m booking window there for the summer. Unless you plan to only use these points at a tougher WDW resort to get into, I would go with HH. You could always use your HH points to get into OKW most times of the year at 7m, but not the other way around. If you have your heart set on BCV or a SV at BWV, then go with one of those. We bought into HH since we knew that dh and I will want to go there without the kids when they are off to college. They'll be near expired by the time we retire, but we have until 2042 to enjoy them. Hopefully they'll extend the contract before it expires so we can continue to enjoy it into our retirement.

Your logic and reasons are near exact as ours in our add on mission. Can I ask you how you like HHI since your purchase?

Our thinking is much the same, we already have AKV as our on site location and for the kid trips as well but we sure are looking down the road a bit when our daughter (8) phases out of yearly trips to WDW. Since we can drive to HHI from Pa. we are thinking this is perfect for the MOM & DAD only trips!
