Thinking about doing DTD for first day. What are your tried and true DTD restaurants that you have enjoyed?

We have never had a bad meal at Rainforest & the meals are huge we always split. I know alot of people here dislike Rainforest. And Earl of Sandwich & WGP Express are really good too.

rainforest cafe in DTD - we always get the crabcakes, DH has the pot roast, i get the crabmeat stuffed shrimp - they used to have a chocolate topped banana cheesecake, but it's off the menu now... :sad2:

cap'n jacks - again, crab cakes and twin lobster tails - what's not to love?!

I like both of the previously mentioned restaurants. I also like Planet Hollywood, which is another restaurant that many here don't especially like. They have a more diverse menu than most WDW restaurants and I LOVE their ribs.

Have you looked at the menus for all the DTD restaurants?

House of Blues.
We love the Rosemary Cornbread here and the jambalaya and I think they have a good personal size pizza.

If you've never been it has a cool vibe/decorations. If it's a nice evening we don't even mind waiting a few minutes for our table because it's fund to sit on the porch and people watch.

For sit-down, I'm a ((ducks flames)) big fan of Planet Hollywood. I like EoS as a CS a lot, too.

HoB is awesome! We are going to try WP Cafe in Oct...the menu looks great. RFC and PH are like Fridays or CHilis (to us anyways)

Love Wolfgang Puck :lovestruc We are trying Bongos for the first time this August.

I'm sorry to say, but we didn't care for Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We were a party of 9 and except for a few of the appetizers, no one really enjoyed their dinner. The food wasn't bad, just not great.

Portobello's or Wolfgang Pucks. I am not a Rainforest Cafe fan.We have one here at home and I have tried that one 4-5 times and the at DTD a couple times( the kids like it) but IMHO it is too noisy and the food is so-so.

We too love Planet Hollywood and Rainforest cafe. While only Planet is a must do at DTD due to the fact we have the other nearby and can do whenever. Both alot of fun....have never had bad service....and the food is very good.

In all honesty, we have only done Fulton's and Wolfgang's. We love Fulton's and will be eating there this year for our special dinner for our 25th anniversary (it is the first restaurant my DH ever took me to at Disney). Wolfgang's was okay...we went when it first opened. We don't do Rainforest or Planet Hollywood because we have them here at home and they just don't impress us. We had planned on trying Raglan Road this year, but we had three other places we wanted to try and could not fit it in--perhaps next year.
