We'll be at the Disney in 2 weeks with our 5 kids. They are great kids and easy to travel with, but we think we still might need a few drinks from time to time. Especially in Epcot! :thumbsup2

Our favorite thing to do at Epcot is "eat around the world" and we use our counter service meal points to get a meal or two in most of the countries to share. It's one of our favorite things to do. The kids love it as much as we do.

We for some reason haven't had many drinks though. I guess several times I've been pregnant- so that might have a lot to do with it. :rotfl: My hubby always gets beer in england, but we want to expand our horizons this time and try some yummy alcoholic goodness.

I've seen a few posts about drinks but can't seem to find them again. I would love any pictures too. Any and all of your favorites so we don't miss anything. I'm a lover of sweet and fruity drinks. DH is more into beer, wine, and "stronger" stuff (tequila, brandy, etc.). Obviously we won't be drinking TOO much with all the little ones there, so we'll have to be a tad selective. ;)

Thank you!!! :grouphug::goodvibes:love:

My favorite is the Italian Margherita from the Tutto kiosk in the Italy pavilion. It's a frozen drink made with grappa, limoncello and margarita mix. The only fly in the ointment is that the price of the drink has risen steadily since I first met them four years ago. They're $10 apiece now.

In UK...we grab a beer of some sort..but usually skip.

In Canada we start with moosehead beer and popcorn at the little stand.

In Mexico...have to stop in the new tequila bar (La Cava) for a margarita or a shot. And, I don't mean suck it/slurp it shot. I mean sipping shots. Everything we have tried so far has been very good.

Norway..nothing really, they have taken out everything good.

China...Check the menu..they did have a wonderful lychee cocktail that would fit you perfectly.

Germany...Franzenkhaner (spelling???...wonderful beer in the biergarten quick serve area with a brat). Don't forget the wine bar, some great selections changing more often now. I am waiting for them to bring back the strawberry infused sparkling wine.

Italy...a shot of limonciello, or prosecco with hibiscus flowers and juice, or a wonderful glass of wine

USA...nothing (lol, really a shame since there are so many wonderful micro brews in usa)

Japan...head in to the far back left of shops and go to the Sake bar...many wonderful selections

Morocco...One beer at outside stand..they had to shorten name and it escapes me right now

France...Grand Marnier slushie, kir royale, and the beer, as well as Nuvo!
Lot's of great choices.

Have fun...get the kids an in room sitter for a few hours, lol. You deserve it.

Yum! Sounds great! Definitely a little pricey though. Are they all that pricey? I guess we can share and that way be able to try more than one. :teeth:

Wow Webray! Thank you! That's exactly what I was hoping for! :goodvibes

It's hard to search things out with all the kids in tow and I wanted to have an idea where the good stuff was so I can send my hubby on over! I think your idea of a night without the kids kids would be the best. My parents come quite often, but not this time. We should have taken advantage of that when we had the chance!

He'll love the tequila bar! and sake! And I know I'll love the stuff in Italy and France you wrote about. That Lychee thing sounds wonderful. I'll look for it!

Thank you!!! :thumbsup2

Anything else we can't miss???

I like the drink in the restaurants that is the celebration something...its blue and served like a martini...comes with a glow cube too...have a few of those from the last trip:rolleyes1 I think it was around $10:goodvibes

I am not sure I'd bring five small children into La Cava del Tequila. They're allowed, but there isn't much for them to do in there, it's small, there isn't much room for strollers, and they don't accept the dining plan so you can't buy food to munch on with your credits. They'll give you margaritas to go at the bar - they'll put them in a plastic cup and you can carry them out.
