Favorite Disney Park CD?

I love all of the music in the parks, especially Wishes. We're headed to WDW in October and this time I am going to buy some of the music from the parks. My only question is which one? Does anyone have a favorite that they absolutely love? Any suggestions?

Our absolute favorite is the 2-CD set made for Disneyland's 50th anniversary. Granted it's not WDW, but of all the park CDs we've purchased over the years, that is the best. It has the full Wishes soundtrack (almost 20 minutes long).

I love the MK Special Event CD. It has the P&P parade, P&P fireworks (amazing!), mnsshp parade and fireworks, Mix and Mingle, Dream Along with Mickey...it is such an awsome CD!!

The Fantasmic soundtrack and Illuminations soundtrack. I find both pieces to be absolutely beauitful and could listen to them all day (sometimes I do!)

I also like the 2-disc set of "Music from the Parks." It's nice espeically when you're feeling homesick for Disney!

I also like the 3 CD set mentioned by a previous poster. In fact I have the "red" CD in my car CD player currently. One of my favorites is the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" 2 CD set.

I second the Happiest Celebration on Earth 2 cd set. It has been a mainstay in our kitchen cd player. I like to listen when I'm cooking. It's one of our favorites.

Right now I am also in love with the Magic Kingdom Events CD. I am using it to get my DS used to the Halloween Music before we go back and I love the Pirate and Princess Music on it too!

But before that it was Wishes.

The Happiest Celebration on Earth 2 cd set if I had to pick one, but I also have the soundracks from Wishes, Spectromagic, Fantasmic, MNSSHP and IllumiNations - Tapestry of Dreams, good stuff.

You can get lots of great Disney music from iTunes. Search on Disney and you'll find stuff like Walt Disney World Band, etc. If you listen to Sorceror Radio (at Live365), you get ideas of individual songs to search for, like music from Animal Kingdom and the resorts.

I don't think Illuminations or Wishes is on iTunes though.

Can you still purchase the 50th anniversary 2 cd set at the parks? I love our Wishes cd. we also have the first two of the Disney Favorites from the movies.

I want a CD that has the actual songs from the rides...is there such a thing?

The Disneyland 50th Anniversary has actual songs/sound tracks from most of the DL rides. We think it's the best!

If you enjoy listening to the rides, you should check out a podcast (search for it in iTunes iStore) called A Window to the Magic. He goes to Disneyland and records the sounds as he rides. The quality of recording is very good. I loved his AWTTM24 shows, too.
