With 2 kids and given their ages, I would recommend the following three

Whispering Canyon Cafe - The food is good but the atmosphere and fun factor are outstanding.

Ohana - Fun for all especially if your family likes meat.

ESPN Club on the boardwalk - Fun atmosphere especially if your family likes sports. Typical bar/pub food and if you have one in your hometown, it isn't that different.

Not sure if you have it, but www.wdwinfo.com then select dining has menus and so does www.allears.net select Walt Disney World and then Dining to see all the menus.

Boma! The food is great and the atmosphere of the lodge is also unbeatable. If you go, allow time to go outside and walk around see the animal viewing stations.

Ohana in the polynesian.

Maybe Kouzzina in the Epcot area....then you can hang by the boardwalk?

My favorites that meet your criteria are Kouzzina, the Grand Floridian Café and Sanaa.

Something I wish someone had told us before we went to Boma..the main dishes had a more sweet taste than savory and that caught us off guard. Not to say it was bad, but it wasn't one of our favorites.

DTD has a few good restaurants some take the DP some don't. One of our GC favorites is T-Rex. I know it doesn't take the DP but it's a great option for a light lunch.

Another great area is The Boardwalk Area with BC and the YC included. Lots of fun plus some good restaurants.
