Favorite Dinner selection

I agree about the sweet drinks. It ruined my dinner one night.
For appetizer I especially liked the duck and goat cheese on flatbread. When I ordered it, I didn't even think I'd like it, but I could've made a meal out of it. The best entree I had was the roasted chicken breast at Animators Palate. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. And for dessert, there's a 4-way tie between the creme brulee, the creme brulee cheesecake, the celebration cake (cheesecake, cake and strawberries all in one) and the chocolate lava cake. Yummy
The kids liked being able to order from the kids menu or adult menu. I think one of my niece's order mac and cheese every night.

Do you feel silly at all asking for another entree if you don't like what you ordered? My DH had some type of fish at Parrot Cay but it didn't seem like it was cooked. He wouldn't ask for something else. I think he ordered some room service when we got back to the room. I think I would be more willing to try something differant if I didn't feel silly about asking for another entree.

Not only will (should) your servers ensure you are happy with what you have, they will mix things up a bit if you ask them. DH wanted to try the vegetarian entree one night...can't remember what restaurant but I know it was a risotto of some kind. He also wanted the steak. He could have ordered both but instead asked the server to take out the potato accompaniment that the steak came with and asked for a side of the risotto instead. That made him happy.
Our servers were constantly encouraging us to order as much as we wanted. We took this as an opportunity to try lots of new things that we would have normally not ordered. We were pleasantly surprised that we liked most everything!

Order away and remember to say something if you aren't happy. You don't want to come home with regrets of not getting what you want.

Just my 2 cents. :teeth:

maybe the one I loved the cheesecake strawberry thing was the celebration cake? did it have white chocolate, anyone know?

Portabella Mushroom Appetizer at Palo.....OMG YUMMY!

Eggs Benedict in Lumiere's.

I loved the dinner in Palo. I had the tortellini which was great, but the pizza was the best.
