Which one and why?

Mine is the Wildreness Lodge because again, I feel the pool is amazing and I just love that North Western feel

My favorite so far has to be the Boardwalk Inn. Rooms are large and beautiful, the activities on the Boardwalk are great, there are many dining options, and you can walk to Epcot and MGM!! Oh yeah -- and the Keister Coaster slide at the pool is so fun! :smooth: (my opinion will be tested next week at AKL)

I have two favorites.

I love the decor at the WL as well as the quiet setting and the pool area (especially at night).

BUT I love the close walk to EPCOT that the Beach Club provides. The pool area is great but it closes at late night.

The AKL got my vote. It's a beautiful and unique resort, plus it has the best Cast Members onsite, in my family's humble opinion. :D

The Contemporary is my favorite resort! Here's why:

Location
Amazing Views
Walkway to MK
Boat transportation
Monorail transportation
Pools
Concourse
Large Bright rooms
Arcade
Chef Mickey's
Concourse Steakhouse
Monorail zips thru the resort
Water sprites on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon
Great view of EWP
Atmosphere

My favorite so far is The Yacht Club, but we leave next week for The Wilderness Lodge and I'm thrilled to see so many love it.

My two faves are by far the Poly and the Swan, both for very different reason. The Poly for atmosphere, and Swan for convinience and a diversity of food and entertainment options.

I've only stayed at the WL so I'm pretty biased. We love to relax when on vacation and the WL is the most relaxing place I've ever been. It's a great getaway after a hectic day at the parks. We don't usually feel like going out after being in the parks all day and we always look forward to heading back to the beautiful lodge.

We thought about trying another resort for our upcoming trip in Sept., but were afraid that no where else would compare to the WL for us. My DH who really doesn't even like WDW that much loves the WL. He would rather hang around the hotel all day than venture out to the parks.

Definitely AKL... of course it's the only deluxe we have stayed at ;)

I love the GF it feels so nice and weel, grand. Also, I like the Bc for its eaasy access to EPCOT.

I'm bumping this thread cause I find it very interesting. I'm voting twice. Once for hubby, and again for me. Hubby's fav is Wilderness Lodge. Mine is Animal Kingdom Lodge. They are actually very similar, but I love the zero depth entry at AKL. Great for my toddler!
If I were to vote again it woudl eb for Beach Club. We just bought into Disney Vacation Club there. We debated over Wilderness Lodge and Beach Club, but Stormalong Bay won out.
Interestingly, I find it odd that Boardwalk Inn is so low down. BWV seems to be a huge favorite over on the DVC boards.

OPPS! I just discovered I can't vote twice! It woudln't let me do it! So I voted for my fav, AKL. But, hubby woudl ahve voted for WL. :)

Beach Club for me - location, location, location! The pool isn't too bad either. We usually go in off season so MK isn't open that late. Last year we did Fantasmic twice and then headed over to Candlelight Processional, which we saw 5 times.

I also love WL decorated for Christmas - this is the second favorite deluxe.

Agreed, it's the Beach Club as the best. theming, location, amenties, location, pool, and transportation options.

Our vote is also for Wilderness Lodge! The perfect escape after a busy day in the parks! Plus, biking and boating there is excellent!

Interesting that at this point, the Polynesian has the most votes, but very little posted rationale for liking it. I think it would be my second choice behind WL because of its theming and being on the monorail.

We love the atmosphere, it is beautiful. Also, we love the location. Go upstairs in the Great Ceremonial House to catch a monorail to MK or the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary, or catch a bus to anywhere right out front, a boat from the dock out back to MK or Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness (Pioneer Hall/Hoop-De-Doo), or walk next door to the TTC for a monorail to MK or Epcot. It feels like our Vacation Home Away from Home. Also has excellent shops and restaurants, including Ohana and Captain Cook's.

lenshanem, shhhh..... the BWI is a well kept secret ;) we don't want everyone to know how great it is!

Seriously, I think because it has a smaller amount of rooms (at the Inn) less people have stayed there than BC thus lower rating. I have stayed Poly and BWI and love BWI. I told my kids and DH to pick any resort for this winter and they picked BWI again!

:D

I noticed that you have stayed at Coronado Springs several times. WE are planning on staying there next year (hopefully)...Are there any tips/advice you can give us as to which Building is closest to the Theme Pool/food/bus....something that is centrally located. Any tips will be greatly appreciated...TIA

Makeupmania please visit the Coronado Springs FAQ thread that i started up :) (the link is in my signature!)

And if you have any questions please PM me :)

I would say if you want to be centrally located to go for Cabana 9B. It is about a 5 minute walk to the food court and about a 3 minute walk to the pool. Great location :)
