Favorite Deluxe Resort

I love AKL the best because of the great atmosphere! You can't beat watching animals from your balcony. The lobby is breath-taking. While there is no monorail service, the bus service is outstanding! Love it there. I guess a close second would be Poly, then WL.

I have only stayed at 4 of the WDW deluxe resorts: WL, AKL, BC (well, BCV really, but I certainly enjoyed all of the BC amenities like the pool and public areas!) and the Swan. Of those, AKL has been my families favorite to date. I am going to keep plugging along to try the other deluxe resorts, so maybe I will change my mind once I spread my wings, so to speak!

Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge are my favorites... It's hard to pick one over another since they all have elements I really enjoy. But if I have to pick just one, I'll go with the venerable Polynesian Resort.

Hard hard choice. The BoardWalk and Animal Kingdom Lodge were very close to the top, but Wilderness Lodge is our choice this year. The BoardWalk is best for visiting the parks, but Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are worthy destinations all on their own. We could stay at either for a week and never think about a ride, show or attraction. I wish we could have chosen two (or three), but since I had to choose one, I chose Wilderness Lodge because we're DVC members and own there -- that makes it a bit better (for us) than Animal Kingdom Lodge from our point of view.

Polynesian...my first and still my favorite! GF is a VERY close second.

Our favorite is the Boardwalk Inn. No matter where we are on property, no matter how much we like the resort we are in, we all still pine away to be back at the Boardwalk.

I voted for the Boardwalk. We've stayed there twice and loved it. But this year we're going to try the Beach Club.

I have stayed at Wilderness Lodge, but I like being able to boat to two of the parks the way you can from the Epcot area. Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian are great to visit though!

Six trips to the Polynesian, two to the Beach Club. I love the Polynesian.

We also stayed at the BWV and had a great time. Just like you Moonbeam we are going to try the BCV this Septemeber. It was a hard choice (not booking the BW) but the BC looked like a nice resort and it is still close enough to the BW if we want to take a walk.
