I am trying to make some dining decisions just case this September dream becomes a reality but I haven't been to WDW. I have read the menus at www.allearsnet.com but I want to know what fellow DISer's favorites are. :thumbsup2

favorite CS-Tusker House at AK
favorite TS-Le Cellier

Favorite CS...Wolfgang puck Express...

Favorite 1TS...Kona Cafe...

Favorite 2TS..California Grill

TS - Le Cellier - Great food & atmosphere
CS - Columbia Harbour House - Usually not busy - love the salad there

Thanks for the replies. Le Cellier seems to be popular!

Please keep them coming! I wish I could see pictures of the dining area. I think the atmosphere adds to the quality of the experience.

Kerri, the California Grill menu does look good!

Favorite CS - Flame Tree, EoS, Pepper Market, Pinocchio's Village Haus, Cantina de San Angel

Favorite TS - Le Cellier, Maya Grill, H&V, MM

CS - Tusker House
TS - Kona for 1 Credit or Boma (it's a toss-up)
TS - Artist Point (2 Credits)

CS is Tusker House; good, seemingly fresh healthy food that keeps me from having to eat a burger or pizza.
TS...too many to chose from, but we always love Spoodles; tapas menu is fun, not priced too bad, and yummy!

I hope your dreams comes true and you get to go! Crystal Palace for breakfast is a favorite of mine :) Kona Cafe at the Poly, breakfast at Boma at AKL and Coral Reef at Epcot. Good luck with your decisions!

Well I'm rather inexperienced compared to most here since my trip in Aug was my first in ten years. But my favorite CS was Tusker House in AK. Great chicken, veggies and potatoes and a nice yummy choc cake for dessert. Can't get better than that!

For TS it was a toss up between San Angel Inn which I know most don't like, but we loved and Crystal Palace (dinner). We are not "foodies" so nothing fancy for us (not that we don't like that necessarily just not what we go for when picking a restaurant at WDW). We didn't expect our normal Mexican food at San Angel Inn and didn't get it. What we got was 10x better and a more interesting atmosphere. Sure the service was a tad slow, but I've had much worse and the food more than made up for it. Crystal Palace had tons of yummy selections (I wish I could have the chicken pasta and banana bread pudding dessert right now!) and we found the atmosphere very pleasant and the characters were much enjoyed by the kids.

Le Cellier *is* popular here at the DIS and we went there last March because of the positive response I got about it. My DH & I *loved* it there. Great steak. Love the cheddar Cheese soup and the pretzel breadsticks. Yum!

For CS - we like Columbia Harbour House in MK. We love that it's big and there's a lot of seating (even upstairs). My DH likes the clam Chowder there. My boys love the Chicken Fingers. I eat a whole bunch of things, but sometimes even just eat the chicken fingers.

TS- Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Excellent food, lot's of things to try, & it's at the AKL.

CS- Flame Tree at Animal Kingdom. Large portions, good food, nice atmosphere.

CS-Tusker House...we also did Cosmic Rays last trip.
Really liked their chicken and mashed potatos (both places)

TS-WCC or CP
Love the atmosphere of WCC
CP-beautiful restaurant w/characters.

allearsnet.com also has some pics of the restaurant interiors so you can get a sense for the atmosphere. Also have you check out this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=773269 ? It is a little long and overwhelming at first but is a great way to get a sense of what the food really looks like/is and you sometimes get "atmosphere" shots as well. I would highly recommend taking a peek!:thumbsup2

This being our first family trip to WDW I don't have any comments or pictures to share. However, I came across this board and love it. They review the food and show pictures of both food and restaurant. Not all restaurants have reviews but most of the TS ones do.

TS toss up between Boma and Crytal Palace

CS probably our favorite was Cosmic Rays at MK the rib and chicken plate was huge and they offered a sf brownie for dessert.

Thank you! :goodvibes

Thanks for the link Indy's Girl.

So many of the TS look good and some of the CS too. It might have been easier to ask which ones suck! :rotfl:
