On our previous trips to WDW, we only ate TS meals but, this time, we're using the dining plan and I'd like your opinion. I know there are so many choices around WS so, please tell me your favorite CS restaurant and snack spot and the best food at each. TIA!

Unfortunately, although we've eaten at many TS in World Showcase, our favorite CS is America pavillion. :rotfl: We've never really done the CS in WS for some reason. The Land is also great.

We love the Patisserie(sp?) in France they of course have alot of wonderful desserts but, they also have a great cheese plate with bread and some good quiche. Always great. :wave2:

Boulangerie Patisserie in France. Everytime I go in there, I really have the urge to run behind the counter and take all of the pastries. All of the desserts are sooo good. :goodvibes

I also really like the fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK.

The Tangerine Cafe in Morocco is great. We also like the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico.

we like france(never ate lunch there but always go for a snack which would be worth paying if it's not a snack on ddp), morroco and really liked CS in germany. ( had never ever even considered there till this last trip and it was really good)

I have to agree with the others who have said Tangerine Cafe in Morocco and the bakery in France. We shared one counter service meal between the 3 three of us in Mexico, China, Germany, Japan and Morocco and our favorite hands down was Morocco, we had already eaten at Marrakesh on that trip too. The cheese plate at France is a great value for the price. We got one the first night we were in Epcot and took it back to our room and ate it for dinner after returing home from the parks the next night. The next time we were in Epcot we got one and ate it with hot chocolate while waiting for Illuminations.

Are you saying you buy one meal at a TS and split it 3 ways, then go to another CS??? That sounds like fun!

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco is our favorite Epcot counter service. The lamb is really good. I think this place has some of the best healthy choices.

I'm not a big fan of the France pastry shop. My favorite time is the Food & Wine festival. They've got some great food to sample.

I love the bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut and the apple strudel at Sommerfest in Germany (it is tucked inside an archway to the right of the entrance to the Biergarten), the chocolate mousse at the bakery in France, the Yakitori House in Japan for teriyaki chicken and rice, Udon soup and iced green tea, cappuccino and pastry at the little stand in Italy.

We ate at Sommerfest, which was YUMMY, and I had a cinnamon pecan croissant with a cafe mocha at the Fountainview Bakery and it was great too.

Ditto! Add a beer and you got yourself one heck of a good lunch!

The Tangerine Cafe sounds great! I can't believe lamb is at a CS restaurant.

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco is the best, IMO. We ate our way around in May and that got the best reviews from us ;)

Snack wise, the cheese plate in the French Bakery is INCREDIBLE!!!!!! 3 huge pieces of cheese, grapes, and a piece of bread. I ate that and left the pastries for my mom and DH =)

I don't know if it's that same as it was before Soarin' was put in but The Sunshine Market located in The Land was great!

Another vote for Tangerine Cafe! They have a great (and very filling) vegetarian plate there!

Second choice would be Cantina de San Angel in Mexico for a wet burrito (minus the meat). Very good and huge!

I also like the cheese plate from Boulangerie Patisserie!
