I'm a pretty no-frills traveler. I link my waterbottle to my belt buckle, and then carry a cross body bag to hold my wallet, phone, a few first aid items, and tickets. That's it. I'm a minimalist!

My beloved Eddier Bauer cross body travel purse (small, but had a lot of compartments and was compact) broke on my last trip, and I am in need of a new purse. What do you guys recommend? I believe I found the same bag, now made by a different company Bon Voyage Bag but it's $55!! That is crazy!

Overland Equipment Bayliss. 6pm.com usually has a good deal on them. I like that it can be worn cross body OR as a waist-pack (not the most attractive but handy on occasion).

Zappos has a video that gives a tour of the interior compartments.

I got a small cross body Baggalini that I LOVE at TJMaxx. It fits my cell phone, small wallet, few cosmetics.

If you're a minimalist in terms of what you carry, I'd recommend anything by Baggallini. They offer big bags to very small, minimalist crossbody bags for those of us who just don't want to be carrying around our entire belongings! Actually, I was surprised that our local AAA store carried them, but that makes sense. You can find them on Amazon as well and a bunch of other websites. Just head over to this Google link for Baggallini and check it out.

What's your time frame for replacing it? You can probably get a good back to school sale or a discontinued color on eBags if you wait. If you do buy from there, I've gotten a price adjustment when my bag went on sale a few days later.

Just today, I picked up a medium sized Baggallini this morning at TJ.Maxx!! It has room for my new camera, my cell phone and cards and money..
Was $25.00, Perfect for travel!

I really love my two LeSportsac Kasey cross-body bags for Disneyland trips. In saying that, they are high if you don't find them on sale or clearance. We have an outlet store here and I usually peruse the clearance section for deals.

Just be careful with the baggallini- many have magnetic closures that can demagnetize hotel key cards and debit/credit cards. I use a lesportsac for this reason- no magnets, just zippers. I have the lesportsac everyday deluxe because I have two kids and need to carry snacks, water, sunglasses, hats, etc. for many people but if you're a minimist traveler you could get away with the Kacey or small cleo crossbody they make.

Too funny that i also bought a new Baggallini yesterday at Marshall's!!! I have a smaller one that I would have taken but thought I should get something slightly bigger. Mine is the highway bagg; it was $29.99.

Anxious minds think alike, I guess:yay::yay::yay:

I have a bagalini I got a TJ Maxx too. It's meant for a tablet, so it's pretty big and actually holds my DSLR plus all my other stuff quite well. No magnets in mine. I love all the compartments and the included wristlet that clips into it. I love it!

Another vote for LeSportsac Kasey bags. The strap is wide and soft, unlike my Baggalini that has thin straps that tend to cut into my neck.

Bought my Kasey bags at Bloomingdale Outlet store.

Forgot to mention that I have also converted my Kasey bag into a (gasp) fanny pack when I just get tired of it weighing on my shoulder. The straps are adjustable and work well for this.

The straps are also removable, so you can unhook them, loop in through another bag or something else you'd like to hang from it.

Just checked the Lesportsac webiste... some of the patterns are clearanced up to 50% off! There are a few Kasey styles included!

Lesportsac's have been my go to bag for the last several years. They have so many sizes and colors. Do great when it rains, and machine washable :thumbsup2

I second this! Have used this bag for a few years!

My Vera Bradley hipster is my favorite. Bonus, it's Disney print :)

I'm another one that likes the Overland Equipment bags. The Placer and the Bayliss are my 2 favorite small bags, But for Disneyland I usually use my Sherpani Zoom. I don't think they make them anymore, but you can find them on Ebay. It has small zippered compartments for everything, and is really flat. It's my go-to Disney bag, since I can put tickets in one zippered compartment, FP in another zippered compartment, my wallet in another, etc.

I have about 4 Baggalini crossbody bags that I've found at TJMAXX - LOVE them!! :lovestruc They hold up great and are great for organizing.

If you don't live near a TJMAXX you can find them online at eBags.com (although they're cheaper at TJMAXX).

I've never had a problem (yet) with any magnets on my Baggalini bags demagnetizing anything. But they don't all have magnets either...
