Whats odd about a lot of crisps is that they taste nothing like their flavour. Cheese & Onion? come on?
Does anyone remember Bones, from late 70's salt and vinegar flavour, from smiths I think, looked like..yes, u guessed, bones, black packet with a skull on i think.
I remember Hedgehog flavour a few years back. They might have been authentic I don't know.
Was it just a flavour from the Yorkshire area?
We have strange cuisine around here. Black pudding, Mucky fat, Tripe I could go on but you will all have nightmares.
I love Salt & Vinegar Ringo's and also Walkers Salt & Vinegar Square Crisps.
Incidentaly, some crisp trivia... Walkers Crisps is effectivley the UK name for florida potato chip brand "Lays". Frito-Lays owns Walkers Crisps. Frito-Lays is in turn owned by Pepsi.
Theres not a lot of cross marketing going on, but some of you may have seen Walkers Sensations over there as "Frito Lays Sensations", with a very similar packet design.
Waker's Tomato Sauce - only Asda sell them though.
Otherwise Seabrook S&V - at least with these you get a full bag of crisps, one thing that really annoys me with Walker's is the multi-pack bags are half empty.

Ahh Seabrook, how could I forget the extremely rare (well round here anyway) - Seabrook Pickled Onion flavour....absolutely fantastic. Their Black Pepper flavour isnt half bad either.
