favorite counter service at the parks

Caseys hot dogs- MK
Counter service at Mexico-epcot

At Epcot we like Sunshine Seasons. Very good food and selection.

Not very many decent CS at DHS. Backlot is ok. Starring Rolls is pretty good but limited selection.

We tend to take a break from the parks for our CS lunches. We head to POR for the create your own pasta which is excellent. Boat ride from DTD is a great scenic way to relax on the way. Another good CS is at Coronado Springs or Wolf Gang Pucks at DTD.

Obviously, it is a matter of personal opinion, but here are the ones we tend to hit:

MK
Cosmic Rays - offers a lot of variety, but can be a little problematic to order due to the different bays
Columbia Harbor House - I liked it, DW didn't.
Pecos Bills - great fixings bar for the burgers

DHS
Pizza Planet is okay, but nothing great
Backlot Express is pretty decent
ABC Commisary is where you would send your worst enemy - I won't eat there again.

Epcot
Sunshine Seasons - one of the best CS in all of WDW. If you are not in the World Showcase at lunchtime, go there.

On the World Showcase side, we like Tangerine Cafe, but have been known to make a meal out of the pastries at Boulangerie Patisserie.

Columbia Harbor House has great fried seafood baskets and sandwiches. It makes for a nice sit down counter service.

MK - Casey's

Epcot - Yorkshire Fish and Chips and anything from the bakery in France

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

We like: Columbia Harbor House at MK, Tangerine Cafe at Epcot, Restaurantasaurus at AK, and Backlot Express at DHS.

Hope you find something you like.

:)

Lots to choose from, but our favorites at each park:

MK - El Pirata in Adventureland tied with Columbia Harbor House
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons in The Land
AK - Flametree BBQ
DHS - tough one, but I have to go with Starring Rolls cafe, only due to the desserts! :goodvibes

MK - Casey's Hot Dogs, Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons, Yakitori House, Boulangerie Patisserie
DHS - don't have a favorite
DAK - Yak and Yeti Counter, Flame Tree Barbecue

EPCOT seems to do the best with CS and DHS has the fewest options.

Mk - Peco's bills

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons. Also like the Cantina in Mexico.

DHS - I typically try and leave the park to eat lunch. Backlot is OK if you have to stay.

MK: Columbia Harbor House
EP: Sunshine season or bakeries in Norway and France
HS: Starring Rolls
AK: Pizzafari

I will go out of my way to get to Sunshine Seasons (Epcot) or Wolfgang Puck Express (DTD) for a CS lunch, even if it means leaving a park and coming back. :)

I don't have favs at DHS and AK, unfortunately. But, I do at MK, Epcot, and DTD.

Epcot - Agree with everyone that said Sunshine Seasons; I don't like to eat a lot of heavy food, and they have some really light options.

MK - Columbia Harbor House is really good, but again, I have to be in the mood for fried. But, if you are craving something like that, the fish'n'chips baskets are really good!

I haven't eaten there in a couple of trips, but Pecos Bill's is good, too! Hoping to go there again soon! :goodvibes

DTD - As others have said, WPE is fantastic. I've eaten at the actual restaurant on the other side of DTD, and well, it was very disappointing at best. Because of that experience, I was rather hesitant to try WPE but saw everyone on here raving about it. I went over one night last trip (stayed at SSR) for dinner, and have to agree with everyone else - it's great! I tried to go back again another night, but the line was a good hour long+ wait out the door!

I think I must've eaten at almost every CS restaurant in the parks so my favourites would be:

MK: Cosmic Rays, good choice & I never fail to be entertained by Cosmic Ray. The cheesy jokes make my meal.
EP: Sunshine Seasons, awesome choice of food & nice environment.
DHS: Backlot Express, although I usually eat at ABC Commissary due to the fact I can get Fish&Chips there.
AK: Fame Tree BarbeQue. I have to say it's VERY good BBQ.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari.

Columbia Harbour House - Magic Kingdom
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

MK: Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bill's, Columbia Harbour House
Epcot: any of the World Showcase CS locations!
DHS: Starring Rolls, ABC Commissary (but only for the delicious Asian Salad!)
