Favorite Commercials?

I never knew commercial could be as funny as some of the ones I've just seen. Has anyone seen the Arby's commercial with Joan Rivers? But on top of that, there's the new VW ads with the German guy.

So, what are your favorite commercials?

I have to agree with ya...that Arby's commercial with Joan Rivers ala natural is a hoot!! And the VW guy is so over the top that I have to stop and watch those commercials just to see what he's up to...but I have to confess my recent favorite commerical is the McDonalds one where the teacher body surfs the crowd at a concert...sees students at McDs and they realize it was him by the orange shoes...of course the only reason I like it...BIL played the drums for it!

YES! I love the German guy (and for those Prison Break fans.... does he look familiar???? he was in Armegeddon too, as the Russian!) ones too - as well as the VW ones with the little monster thing saying "Drive fast! Dont roll the windows up! Growl!!" Hehehehe! And I want that stinking car!!!!!

Also - and I have no clue why - I ADORE those Mento's commercials with the birds... L L! I do a little jiggy when theyre on.

This will only make sense to fellow Canadians here, but I love the new Tim Horton's commercial with the Chinese-Canadian dad watching his kid play hockey. Too hard to adequately explain the emotional resonance of the ad, but it is great.

There are a few commercials I like, but I can't always remember what they are trying to sell me. Some of my faves are:
- the one where the three guys are in the office dancing to Salt N Pepa's "Push It". They stop to make a call and find the location of someone because a coworker came in and interruppted them. Then the go right back to dancing.
- the one where the guy is dancing with the cow. Something about shake that thing up. And he gets all into his dancing and even spanks the cow.
- the dodgeball one with "Daydream Believer" playing in the background.

I LOVE the VW commercials. The one where they say the car is "definitely sucking" is hilarious. I normally don't pay attention to commercials at all (I change the channel if I can), but those are great!!!!!

I like the SUV one (can't remember what kind of SUV it is) where they come out of the garage and it's blocked by snow.
The wife asks what they should do, and the husband responds by saying "my parents said we could stay another night".
She bolts through the snow. lol

My absolutely favorite commercial these days is the Kissimmee ad with the little boy in the Hawaiian shirt who says "You can do whatever you want".

When I lost my job a couple of months ago I needed to put a positive spin on it so my mom wouldn't panic. That little boy perfectly sums up my intense feeling of freedom and quoting him has beome my way of expressing my joy and relief.

There are two of them about trying to reach customer service at your credit card company. I think it's for citibank. A little exagerated but we've all been there.

I like the one with the guy in an airport going through security holding a soda bottle. The security woman keeps "beeping" the bottle and takes it from him.

Although it's been shown a thousand times, I love that Disney commercial where the little boy says, "We're too excited to sleep!"

I also like the doggie day care commercial where Mr. Jingles has an accident. (That sounded kind of warped when I typed it---Mr. Jingles looks embarrassed and it's funny).

I haven't seen this one since the Superbowl, but I also like the Magic Fridge commercial, where the revolving fridge keeps getting filled with beer.

1. Nextel/Sprint "Push It" commercial - this is what DH sounds like when I call him at work so I tease him mercilessly about dancing.

2. The VW commercials are great.

3. Another vote for the WDW "We're too excited to sleep!" commercial - think they may have filmed us for that one!

Has anyone seen the new Angel Soft Toilet Tissue commercials? They are hilarious. They all focus on situations that happen at the toilet, except for the obvious

In one commercial, the family is gathered around the toilet & are flushing the poor dead goldfish away. They all say their goodbyes, drop him in and flush. As the poor fishie is heading down the "last swirl", the little boy yells "he's alive!!" and they cut to the announcer saying something like "this moment brought to you by Angel Soft".

I love the Nextel "Push-It" one. When they hit the music back on and that one guys does that last moves it CRACKS me up everytime.

And I like the new Capital One commericals with the Guardian Angel.

The commercial I'm about to describe certainly didn't do it's job because I cannot for the life of me remember what it's selling but I love the ad that has a husband flipping a light switch on and off, on and off because he has no idea what it controls. Meanwhile, the woman who lives next door is trying to get her car into her garage and her garage door keeps going up and down, up and down onto the hood of her car.

It is ironic that this thread would show up now. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but the new Staples commercial with the "copy cat" puts me in stitches every time that I see it. Just something about a cat dipping its paw in paint and trying to make a color copy strikes my funny bone. I'm having a hard time not laughing out loud as I type this.
