I am currently writing a book titled "Unforgettable: A Tale of a Disney World" about a 15 year old girl who gets sucked into a world where Disney characters of the past, present and future live in harmony. She will have to work with her friend Jason, the three actresses whom she was giving a tour of the Magic Kingdom too, and all the new characters she meets in this world to save her Aunt and find a way home. Throughout the book Selena, my main character, learns more about herself and her friends than she'd ever dreamed possible.
Among the famous Disney characters I have in the book, here are some: Ariel, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Daisy, Donald, Cinderella, Jane Porter, Terk, Tantor, Tarzan, Prince Eric, Cinderella's Prince, Snow White, Ursula, Cruella Devil, all 101 Dalmatians, Rodger, Anita, Simba, Nala, Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Timon, Pumba, Dumbo, Aurora, Lilo, Stitch, Nani, Belle, Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, The Hyenas, Malenficent, The Evil Queen, King Triton, and some more that I missed here and there.
Do I have any suggestions as to other characters I could add? Any comments on the book? Please let me know!!

Prince Phillip is in it (forgot him in my list, but he is!)
Um, as for Alice or the Mad Hatter, it's something to consider although I'd have to think about where to put them in.... aha! Got it!
Ok, they are in now too lol

Considering that Selena Gomez is fairly well-known as a Disney star, are you sure that "Selena" is the best choice of name for the protagonist of a Disney story?

Well- considering the fact that it has nothing to do with Disney Channel and my main character is in no way even considerably close to Selena Gomez, I don't see the big problem.
Honestly, to find a name that isn't the name of an actual Disney character and isn't the name of someone I know... isn't as easy as it sounds. Plus, Selena is such a beautiful name. But I don't understand how someone could relate a musical loving, dorky, friendless, future Disney Imagineer who doesn't have friends or a real family (an adopted workaholic dad) and is spending the summer with her aunt in Disney and gets taken into a whole other world... while I understand the point you are making, I think people will be over to overlook the slight connection.

the alladin characters:
jasmine as an example
the nightmare before christmas characters:
jack skellington
sally
zero
along with many other classic characters

Maybe some Pixar characters
The 7 Dwarves
Scar
Alladin characters
Nightmare Before Christmas characters

Aladdin characters I forgot to list but, they are in it. As for the Nightmare Before Christmas, maybe but I don't really know the movie very well. Scar is in it aswell, and so are the Jungle Book characters, which I realized I forgot to mention. The Seven Dwarfs are in it as well, with Snow.

I am suprised no one mentioned them:confused3, but what about the characters from the 100 Acre Woods.... Eeyore, Pooh, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, Owl, Gofer, Christopher Robin.

I second the notion! And please use Christopher Robin, NOT that vile imposter Darby... :headache:

BTW your book sounds really cool! :goodvibes

hmm very nice suggestions. And I know EXACTLY where to put them. Oh yes, they'll slide in very nicely.
I have a scene or two where many of the Disney characters are visited, though don't necessarily take a huge part in the overall story. I have about... 6 or 7 main characters that are related to Disney characters or are Disney characters of the future but, aren't necessarily Disney characters that we know.
For example, I have Penelope who is Belle's daughter. I have Angelina who is a Argentinian Princess/dancer. I have Tommy who is the son of Hercules. And more, but telling you would spoil them!

I really think that there should be Aristocats characters in there! Duchess, Marie, O'malley, the other kittens...

And perhaps Lady and the Tramp and Si and Am.

I also second the idea of adding Alice and the Mad Hatter, and maybe the Chesire cat? As well as Jack Skellington and Zero!

This sounds like it'll be a cool book. =D And if you're at all worried about the name Selena, you could always use Serena, which sounds similar.

ummmmmmmm... kevin from up... dori from nemo... and...... jack sparrow.

Anybody for Gurgi?
