Favorite character meals?

Which are your favorite character meals? Trying to think of which ones we'll do next time. I really hate that so many of them have the same characters. I wish they would add different ones to some places. We have done Chef Mickeys, Hollywood & Vine, Garden Grill, and Cinderellas table. Then we have eaten at Be our guest (I wasn't impressed) T-Rex and Beaches & Cream for other fun places.

I think our next trip we will do Crystal Palace breakfast, Ohana Breakfast and maybe 1900 Park Fair. Those seem to have all difference characters then what we've seen before except Mickey and Pluto being at Ohana and then Cinderella being at 1900.

1900 Park Fare is probably our favourite dinner. The stepsisters and wicked stepmother are a riot. We are doing O'hana breakfast this trip for the first time, and looking forward to it. It will be our only character meal this time.

We have done all of the character meals except for the one at Hollywood and Vine (even though my DDs are 14 and 12, and they still watch Disney Jr from time to time, they don't care to meet those characters). Our favorites are Akershus breakfast, CP breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast, Tusker House for either breakfast or lunch (I like the lunch more, but the kids really like the breakfast), and Cape May Cafe. If we are doing a breakfast in a park, I always make it as close to the 8am hour as possible on a non EMH day...walking in a park that early in the morning really makes for some great photos and the parks are so pretty at that time too.

I'd do the 1900 breakfast but having pooh and another character there that doesn't make sense if we do CP. Plus my daughter would like to do a breakfast with Cinderella I am sure and the step sisters, we've yet to meet them.

Tusker House has Donald, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy dressed in Safari outfits.

Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare might be good options for you. Tusker House, at least to me, has a nicer buffet than most others, so for parents/adults, that can be an added bonus. And as for characters, Daisy is there and all characters are in safari outfits, so it is fairly unique.

1900 PF has great characters for breakfast (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter and a couple of Pooh characters -- basically, the British gang), but we love the dinner with Cinderella's stepfamily. They are hilarious. Prince Charming is also there. We had three little girls all dressed like Cinderella, and when the music started playing, the Prince came over and got them all up to dance. Definitely a lifelong memory, so we are a little biased...but again, the steps are awesome.

1900 Park Fair! The characters are hilarious and gave the best interaction of every meal we had.

1900 Park Fair for breakfast, you get Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. Pretty unique characters for a breakfast buffet.

For breakfast our favorite is Ohana by far. Our youngest still gets Mickey and Pluto, and the older kids love Stitch. We also like that it is family style instead of a buffet. That makes it a little more relaxing, although it is still a character meal so hectic is a given.

We also like Cape May breakfast, the character interaction is great, especially at a later breakfast. However, we have only done that one when we stay at BCV, I would probably not go out of my way for it.

Our favorite in park character meal is Crystal Palace. My kids just like those characters the best and the food is okay.

1900 Park Fare for breakfast or dinner. We have had amazing experiences at both, and they have strawberry soup at both - can't go wrong with the strawberry soup!

We also liked 'Ohana for breakfast - great food, but our character interaction was way too quick - we saw all 4 characters within 10 minutes of sitting down.

Love 1900 park fare breakfast. The character interaction is amazing, you never know what the mad hatter is going to do.
My second favorite character breakfast is cape may buffet.

NOTE1: Results are listed from best to worst. Overall, Tusker House wins due to best food and the length of time the characters stay at each table. A close second is 1900 Park Fare. By far, Chef Mickey's is the loser, due to mediocre character interaction and almost terrible food quality. The very distant second worst is Cinderella Royal Table, for brief time at tables by characters and the new menu.
