My family is trying to consider 1 character breakfast during our stay at the WDW Resort in August. Can anyone give me their feedback on favorites and why? Thank you so much.

You did not say if you had boys, girls, or what ages, but we have enjoyed the breakfast buffet at 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table (in the castle), and princess b-fast in Norway (Epcot). I guess you could say we haven't yet met a character b-fast we did not like :rotfl2:

Here's a run-down of each...Just remember that Disney may substitute characters at any time, so what we had may not be exactly what you get. You will always get Mickey at Chef Mickey's and Cinderella at CRT, but other supporting characters could change. You might get Tigger and not Piglet at 1900 Park Fare. You might get Pocahontas in place of another princess. Also, for current menus check out allears.net.

1900 Park Fare - Mad Hatter, Pooh, Piglet, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins. Food was good buffet food - waffles, eggs, fruit, potatoes, bacon, bread pudding (to die for!), etc. Some people rave about their strawberry soup.

Chef Mickey's - Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Donald, Pluto and Goofy (he's in lobby only). Food was good buffet food - all but bread pudding above, plus breakfast lasagna, pastries/donuts, cereal, etc.

CRT - Cinderella (lobby only), Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Sleeping Beauty. Fruit is served to all, then each adult gets a platter of the same pastry, eggs, bacon/sausage (can't recall what else). Kids can get french toast sticks if they don't want the platter - or if they are 2 & under that is what they get I believe.

Norway - Ariel, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty. Cold items like fruit and some Norwegian specialties were on a cold buffet. Hot foods came family style to the table. I think we had some cinnamon rolls plus eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage.

O'hana ...why, family style & location!!!!!

mine - O'hana - characters were great, loved being in the Polynesian, food was good, and it was family-style so this was our most RELAXING, fun breakfast

Cape May at the Beach Club, food is awesome and the characters in their bathing suits are just too cute. The place is never that busy so you get a lot of attention from MInnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale

Another vote for O'Hana ....atmosphere is wonderful, food is always good, as is the service and you get wonderful interaction with the characters. Chef Mickey's is good, but was'nt impressed with how rushed it all seemed there.

Our DS had his first birthday at Crystal Palace. He loved Pooh. We got pic's with all the characters and the lunch buffet was really good

I like the Cape May Cafe buffet. The food is good, and it's not as zoo-y as some of the other character breakfasts.
