We always book dinner at Chef Mickey's and breakfast at the Crystal Palace.
I'd love to hear what you're favorite character meals are and whether its because of the food or characters. We'll still book CP since its a tradition but I'd really like to book something we've never been to before.

We've done dinner at both places. We went to CP first - when we left we said must go back. Then we went to Chef Mickeys - when we left we said must go back. They were both great, but Chef Mickey's was better (food, character rotation and seating). If you can, do both!

We love CP! That's a tradition for us! And Donald's Safari Breakfast is really great (that's DH's favorite). My 4 1/2 year old loves the Little Einsteins, so Playhouse Disney in Hollywood Studios is another must do for us!

At the Playhouse Disney breakfast, which character were there for you? I've heard good and bad. My son LIVES for Playhouse Disney everyone morning.

My 1st choice for breakfast would be CRT or TH. On most occasions, I'd go with TH. The only character dinner we've been to in many years is LTT. They no longer have characters though, & it's just as well. We don't like the food at all.

There hasn't been a character dinner that we've wanted to write home about, but...plenty of character breakfasts that we can't wait to go back to.

We love Donald's Safari Breakfast at TH...we go every year, never miss it. Good selection of food and great POG juice, just like Boma and Kona. The kids always have a good time AND a good meal (plus it's a great place to see Daisy).

We also enjoy CP, the food is awesome...Puffed French Toast, made to order omelets and custom pancakes :cloud9: all so good.

My son worships the Little Einsteins, so we do the Playhouse Disney Breakfast. The food isn't outstanding, but it's a really fun atmosphere and seeing my kids having fun with their idols, is worth every penny. ;)

We had the BEST view of the castle at the Lilo and Stitch Breakfast at O'hana. Stitch was everything we'd thought he would be, totally crazy and fun, and the family style servings were a nice change of pace from buffets.

CM was good, but loud and crazy. It was nice however to see the Fab 5 and be able to skip the lines to see them in the parks. :thumbsup2

We've done the Storybook Princess Breakfast at EPCOT. I thought it was a good value for the money (1 credit on the DDP which includes a picture package). Plus, if you have a princess in training, it's a must! princess:

IMO there's really not a bad character meal on property. Some are just better than others. Good luck!

Cape May has a nice character breakfast. Lots of fun and nice selection of food.

Akershus - been there both times we have been with our DDs, and they have loved it!

Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys and Cape May (all breakfast) are our favorite character meals.

Speaking as a child of 51 years, my favorite character breakfast is Tusker House..followed by Ohana and Akershaus..in that order..:thumbsup2

The only character dinner we ever had was at CP..and thought it was just ok...:confused3

This was our exact experience last year & it went to the top of our favorite character meal list! :goodvibes

We also enjoy CP for breakfast more than dinner. CM can be very loud & hectic but it is a fun meal for sure ... only done breakfast though.

My DS13's two requests to repeat this year are 'Ohana with Stitch and Donald's breakfast.

I didn't know that LTT didn't have characters anymore?? I was going to make an ADR there for our Dec trip.

At the Playhouse Disney breakfast, which character were there for you? I've heard good and bad. My son LIVES for Playhouse Disney everyone morning.

When we went in November it was June & Leo from the Little Einsteins and JoJo with Goliath. The food was fine. They had a lot of variety. It does seem to get bad reviews. We got there at 8:00 am, and the place was fairly empty while we were there. ..which worked great for us.

The characters invite the kids to come sing & dance with them - and they do a lot of the Playhouse Disney songs. . like Hot Dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog. They also lead the kids in a parade around the place.

We wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Fav Char Brkfst: Crystal Palace - good food & good character interaction

Fav Char Dinner: don't have one - it used to be LTT

We love the Crystal Palace for breakfast; it's a must do every trip. Except for 'Ohana, we have not done any other character dinners.

We always do Chef Mickey's for dinner on our arrival day. We also love 1900 Park Fare for dinner. The step sisters are a hoot. :thumbsup2 We also like Crystal Palace and CRT.
