I voted for the Olive Garden, but could have just as easily clicked Red Lobster. I also love the salads Applebee's.

I went pretty much my whole life not eating at Denny's (to that point, I think my friends and I visited 1 time and it was downright awful). Then 1 day my daughter asked if we could eat there because she wanted breakfast. No one but her and her BF were happy about it, but we went. I really can't believe it's that good and we never ate there. The salads are great, and the steak skillet (fajita - but I don't make a fajita) was SOOOOO good. We've been back a couple times since for the exact same thing. We did try another Denny's in the State College area, but it was downright awful. Of course we've eaten at Red Lobster in the State College area and it didn't compare to the one we visit all the time either.

Another one we enjoy, more for the spirit than anything, is our 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'.
It's very loud, but the grands love to go there whenever they have something special to celebrate! :cool1:

Mine would be Ruth Chris or Melting Pot, neither are listed.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

My faves aren't on the list but some have already been mentioned (Melting Pot and Outback). I also love Maggiano's! (And Mimi's Cafe for breakfast).

I was so surprised for our first visit they gave us 4 complimentary yummy muffins to take home! :goodvibes

None from that list.. For fast food, it would be A&W, but I don't think there are any around anymore..

We have a Long John Silver's and A&W combo ~ let's just say root beer is the better of the two! :rotfl2:

My favorites not on the list are Cracker Barrel, Outback, and Lonestar and Texas Roadhouse steakhouses.

I agree! So nice picking out your own fresh steak! It's a treat when the servers line dance too! :dance3:

I chose Johnny Rocket's for the fun! Ours has the staff dance to Stayin' Alive once an hour. My son and his friends love that; I love the vanilla malt shake. It is the best shake anywhere IMO.

I wish there was a hybrid place that sold Johnny Rocket's vanilla malts, Bobby's Burger Palace burgers, and Five Guys Cajun fries. Those are my three favorite items from a burger chain, although I'd have trouble getting all three items down in one meal (unless I ate nothing else all day).

I always found it quite amusing that the Texas Roadhouse started in Indiana.

We've never eaten at one (there is 1 in State College, but we don't go that way all too often), and have been sitting on a $50 gift card since Christmas of 2008. I wonder what it might be worth today?

I love Cheddar's! Very vegetarian friendly. :goodvibes

Also love PF Changs and Panera!!! :lovestruc

I voted Olive Garden, since its my favorite of those listed. And 2nd favorite overall. My ultimate favorite is Logan's Roadhouse. Yum! Yum! Yum!
DH would vote Olive Garden #1 and Logans #2
DS would vote Logans, with Olive Garden #2
DNe would vote Logans #1 and CiCi's pizza #2

Culvers...ONLY for their frozen custard though. The food is awful . The burgers are always oddly crunchy, the fries are like limp microwaved grocery store crinkle cut fries, and their cheese curds are sub par as compared to A&W.

(And Mimi's Cafe for breakfast).

For breakfast maybe. We had one of the worst meals we'd ever eaten out when we went to Mimi's for dinner. And we eat out a lot (a LOT!). Poor food (muffins were good, but went downhill from there), poor service. Maybe it was just a bad night, but we were very, very disappointed.

Applebee's. The sliders are delish.

I also love Cracker Barrell for some comfort food, Upper Crust for pizza, and various small Mexican places.

I chose the Cheesecake Factory because I have such a weakness for those avocado eggrolls!!!:cloud9:

Sadly, we live too far away from one now (when we lived in Boston we lived within driving distance to 3!!).

My favorite that we have close by, from your list, would be Ruby Tuesdays. I love those crab cakes!!

For me it would definitely be Friendly's. Not so much because of their meals (although they do have some really good appetizers) , but because of their incredible desserts (which after all is the most important part of any meal :thumbsup2).
About the only place that I've found that has a dessert that I would consider better than Friendly's Reeises Pieces Super Sundae would be the Kitchen Sink at Beeches and Cream (and possibly a couple of other B&C offerings which I've only seen, but haven't tasted).

Of the restaurants in the list I went with CPK. I try to avoid chain restaurants for the most part because I like the local bistros and places like that. We do have a regional chain of Lebanese restaurants called Aladdin's. That would be my favorite of the "chains" by far.

Its Chili's and Red Lobster for me.... however the one I frequent the most is Pizza Hut lol.. its across the street from where I live so can't blame me!
