Favorite buffet??

Add me to the hate Boma crowd. Weird or bland. No middle ground.
My favorite buffet is Biergarten. If you like German food at all, this place will wow you. Great variety and flavors. Nothing here is sickeningly sweet. Except the Bavarian cheesecake.Yum! CP is pretty good. I really enjoy the family style places. One no one has mentioned is Liberty Tree Tavern, very good. And HDDR is a dinner show with ribs, fried chicken, beans, cornbread, taters and strawberry short cake.And the show is the most fun I've had in the World.

I have Biergarten on my list of "maybe". It looks so fun! I'm not a big german food person though, so I don't know. I'm kind of scared about that one. Although, I could just eat the Bavarian cheesecake the whole time and be happy !! I really wanted to do HDDR but we only are only staying 5 days, so only 5 TS meals. That would take 2 right there. Same with CP. I would really like to do one CS and one TS everyday. However, we may go to T-Rex (went in '09 and my son LOVED it-we got to eat in the ice cave!) and pay OOP so we would have a day we could use 2. I've heard so many good things about HDDR!

Crab legs !! Lol. I don't eat seafood, but my husband and son love it. I did find a few things on their menu that I would eat though. And with Cape May being right at our resort it would be hard to pass up the convienience!!

My wife does not like buffets and over the years we have stopped going to them both at WDW and at home. Boma is the one exception. We all absolutely love it including my wife.

FWIW, while we love the food at Biergarten, we've found that the food there is somewhat tamer than the same dishes we make at home. My brother-in-law is not a fan of my grandmother's Sour Kraut, etc. but did really enjoy his meal at Biergarten. There are definitely options for everyone.

As for CP ... you can't beat the Pooh Characters and the food is so good. There are lots of interesting salad choices and well as hot entrees.
