We've been using the FLIP which works out really well.

It's compact and very easy to fit in a pocket. Downside it you don't get much of a zoom and you have to hold it still, (sudden movements don't work well at all)

But for around $100 I think it's one of the best options---

Anyone else have a favorite??

Found a Samsung HD video camera at Sears for $100 on Black Friday. Really liked it when playing around so far.

I got DH a Kodak Playsport for Christmas-hoping it will stay a suprise till then  It was just over $100 at Walmart.com. It's waterproof to 10 feet and supposedly made for 'active' lifestyles. In our family, 'active' means 'drops stuff a lot' :lmao:

I hope it's as good as the site hypes it to be. I bought it on an impulse-we have an ancient Fisher video camera (we bought it when we got engaged 16 Christmasas ago!) and back then it was near $600. Battery no longer holds a charge and the quality and megapixles on the cheap ones are WAY more-amazing! I had no idea prices have come down so much and the size is so nice and small. I hope he likes it (thankfully, if not, I can return it) and I want to use it on our Disney trip in Feb.

We really enjoy our Kodak Playsport. It is so small and travels well.
