What is your favorite breakfast buffet on property? DH loves breakfast buffets & I'm looking for another to add to our trip.

We're staying at the Beach Club & already have Cape May booked. We tried Crystal Palace in October & enjoyed that but are looking to try something new. We've also had Tusker House but aren't going to be in the Animal Kingdom around breakfast time this trip.

Thanks!

Crystal Palace is always a good one in terms of food, though I'm slightly biased towards the characters as well.

Boma is delicious, and so is The Wave.

If you're looking for characters, you could also consider Garden Grill or 'Ohana, which are all-you-can-eat family style, which may or may not fill the buffet role for you. :) We love both!

In addition to the character breakfasts at Cape May, Tusker House, and 'Ohana, 1900 Park Fare has a good breakfast buffet (with characters). We usually do one of these each trip on a rotating basis.

Tusker House is my favorite! I love the variety there.

Since you won't be at AK, I'll suggest 1900 PF breakfast.

Garden Grill. Although not exactly a buffet, it is served family style. It is an all you can eat and it is FABULOUS!!!!

We love Boma - truly the best on property. We also love Trail's end breakfast. It is so good and so reasonably priced. So many choices hot and cold. It might be a trip to get there but it is well worth it. The CMs there have always been nice.

Since you are staying at Beach Club, you might want to try Captain's Grille. They have a terrific buffet and for a decent price compared to the character buffets. Also, no need to book 180 days out.

Definitely Boma! For characters, Cape May, which I see you already have booked.

Garden Grill-character and Boma-non-character.

There is also the new character Bon Voyage breakfast at Trattoria at Boardwalk that just started a few weeks ago. We will be trying it out in August - the reviews have been very good so far. It would be very convenient since you are staying at BC.

Boma - hands down favorite!! And considerably lower priced than the character breakfasts. It is a great replacement for Tusker House, some of the same offerings and a more relaxed atmosphere and no park entrance required.

Also, as sls404 said - right in your own backyard - Captain's Grille has a very inexpensive breakfast buffet with some unique offerings.

Boma certainly has unique offerings, but going resort-to-resort can be a hassle without a car (or taxi).

1900 Park Fare is somewhat similar to Cape May, albeit with different Characters and variations between 'signature' buffet items.

Wave is somewhat similar too, but without the Characters.

CA Grill weekend brunch is half buffet and plated entree....and, like The Wave, is walking distance to Magic Kingdom.

But if you are staying at Beach Club - you have two nearby choices at Swan (Garden Grove) and Dolphin (Fresh). We very much enjoy Fresh for the freshly pressed juices (i.e., carrot, beets, wheatgrass, etc.); we've not been back to Garden Grove since remodeling. These places take AAA or DVC discounting too.

I believe the buffet is not available while the restaurant is in its temporary digs at Ariel's.

It does say on the Disney website that there will be no buffet while it's at Ariel's. This doesn't start until Mid-May though so we'll be okay since we're heading there the end of next week.

There is a new breakfast on the Boardwalk - Trattoria Al Forno's Bon Voyage breakfast. It's plated but looks to have a nice variety and characters, too!

Thanks for letting us know! I had breakfast booked for June there :(

Wave of American Flavors at the Contemporary. Best buffet on Disney property. Love the sweet potato pancakes.

Captain's Grille is closed. No buffet is offered at its temporary replacement, Ariel's.
