Favorite Brady Bunch episodes

My Dsis and I loved the Grand Canyon camping episode. One year the two of us went camping there (on the top - not the bottom).

We decided to mess around with friends and family. I mailed postcards telling everyone that I had lost my sister. I think she is somewhere at the bottom of the canyon and we were hiking trying to find her and calling her name. The next day my sister sent post cards telling everyone that she was okay but looking for me. She was at the bottom of the canyon and had run into two adults by the name of Bobby and Cindy. They were surviving off some old baked beans and hot dogs in a flashlight. :rotfl:

We had one friend tell us they had actually gotten worried when they received my postcard. Who would tell someone via a postcard that they lost their sister?? :rotfl: :confused3

It's hard to believe that show is like 40 years old. I remember my friend and I would watch that when we were kids.

I was reading about the episodes, and didn't realize that one about the "hair tonic" was the last one of the series. I remember seeing some movies like the Christmas special after the series itself ended.

When the series ended you are only a die hard fan if you watched the Brady Variety Hour. Those were some COOL costumes!!!! I watched that and Donny and Marie.:lmao: I was in 5th grade in 1976.

The Brady Bunch Hour is an American variety television series produced by Sid and Marty Krofft in association with Paramount Television, which aired on ABC between 1976 to 1977.

The lost Kitty Carryall episode and basically any episode where they went in the backyard, just 'cause I'm envious of their freshly manicured AstroTurf.

Marcia breaks her nose
Peter's voice changes

Those are really the only two I remember. I watched them in reruns.

"....mom always SAID, 'Don't play ball in the house'..." :rotfl2:

the football in Marcia nose

"....something SUDDENLY came up...."

....okay, how ridiculous is it that I know practically every famous line from almost each and every episode? :worried:

....oh, and how about the one with their nephew Oliver?

....how about "HARK! Who GOES there?"

Yep -- love Alice's line: "The part where Romeo died was sad. The part where Juliet died was sad. But the saddest part of all was when when Jan said, 'Who goes there?' before Peter said, 'Hark!'"

If memory serves me, Robert Reed was not even in that episode dues to a falling out or something.

:rotfl: Yes, nice!

Ahh..Doug, the big man on campus. Heck, I liked Charlie better anway. How about this one "Baby talk, baby talk, it's a wonder you can walk". Buddy Hinton!

Remember how Carol was always worried about Cindy getting the sniffles, in her younger years?

How about the measles episode?

I mean who in the heck was getting the measles back then!

I loved that Carol stood up to Mike about her woman doctor. ::yes::

I think I liked when Jan got a pretend boyfriend Something Glass:rotfl:

It was George Glass!
When I saw Bridesmaids in the theater, I laughed so hard when Kristen Wiig's character asked that user-guy to the wedding, he said no then she said something that's ok I can find someone else. He then takes a drink from a glass and she says George Glass! Just like Jan did!

I will admit, it isnt christmas for me until I watch A Very Brady Christmas.

Funny, the day this thread was started, a friend of mine in another state, posted on Facebook that she had just finished cooking dinner for her family, pork chops, something else, and applesauce LOL!! It had no reference to the Brady Bunch either!

I love The Brady Bunch, I'm one of the younger fans but it's probably my favorite classic show. I've been watching re-runs since I was about 8 or so.

My favorite episode is the one where all the kids get the measles and both doctors visit the house and the male doctor goes into the girls room and the female doctor is in the boys room and all the kids hate it!

INSP has been airing the show on weekdays incase anyone wants to watch!
