Favorite Boardwalk area Restaurants??

A no vote here for the Big River Grill. Several tries, never impressed, won't go back.

If you want a causal lunch, Tubbi's over at the Dolphin is a cafeteria (open 24 hours a day) and they have a variety of fast food type stuff.

FYI, Tubbi's is closed for renovation (the convenience store next door will close on 2/21) and will reopen in April with a new look and name (per All Ears newsletter I got today).
We've had good and mediocre experiences at Big River Grill; it seemed to be much improved last time we were there. Love the food and portions at ESPN, love Beaches n Cream, and love eating at any number of the restaurants in World Showcase at Epcot...then stumbling back to our villa!

ESPN had to be the worst meal I have ever eaten at Disney in over 25 years. But my DH and especially my DS 9 loves the place. If you want the experience - go in and have desert.

We like Beaches and Cream. And Spoodles for Lunch.

Another resounding NO for Big River. Waste of time and money.
If you will be at the Boardwalk try the Belle Vue room in the BWI if you want a quick breakfast. It is on the lobby level to the left of the elevators. We picked up breakfast there a few mornings on our last trip and took them back to our room to eat. Selection of cold items such as muffins, bagels, donuts, etc. Coffee was pretty good and the service very fast.
We used to love Spoodles for our breakfasts but they took away the breakfast pizza/flatbread and broke our hearts!!!!! :confused3

Flying Fish for dinner.
ESPN for lunch.
Big River for good beer
