Favorite Beach Resorts from World Passport?

I am sending this call out to all who have tried an exchange thru World Passport to a "BEACH" resort and just absolutely loved the location and would want to go there again? Where did you go and did you feel like you received great value for the exchange (i.e. this DVC thing is realing starting to payoff)?

I haven't exchanged DVC, I don't feel it's a good deal for most options. As for Beach options, it depends on what you like and where you want to go. I'd say that Marriott's Ocean Point, the Aruba Marriott's, Marriott's Grande Ocean and Barony in HH, Marriott's Maui Ocean Club, the Westin in Maui would be some of the top choices with a Beach. There are others like Marriott's Newport Coast that is near the Beach, the other HI Marriott's that are fine choices also. Royal Reef in Cayman's, Westin St. John, Royals in Cancun and the like that are great choices as well. Marriott will soon be selling in St. Thomas and expect that plus the new HH Marriott (Surfwatch), to be added to the list. The Four Seasons in CA is also one of the top but not sure off hand if it has a beach or not. And I'd add Paradise Village in MX as well.

If you exchange for prime time at top resorts, you can't go wrong. But the rest of the time, it's not likely going to be a good value even for the above resorts. In part it will depend on the resort, location, time of year and unit size. It's unlikely a studio will be a good value for most options but again it depends on when and specifics. Prime time will be a good value for most options, the rest will vary but the further you get away from high demand, the lower the value. Don't kid yourself into thinking a great resort in a low demand time is a good deal, even if it's red time with II.
