I read about Jolly Holiday, and put it on the list for dessert one day. Then I stumbled across Pooh Corner...

Do you have a favorite bakery in DLR or DCA?

Pooh's Corner is more like a candy shop, opposed to a bakery. They carry lots of wonderful sweet treats (much of them are the same as Trolley Treats and the Candy Palace), such as cupcakes, chocolates, chocolate-dipped yummies, etc. Jolly Holiday is a counter service venue that has salads and sandwiches, plus a pretty extensive selection of pastry-type items. Are you looking for candy-type goodies or pastry-type items?

Hmm. Different members of our group would answer that questions differently! Do you have a particular favorite in each category?

For pastries I like Jolly Holiday. There are several yummy options, including the Matterhorn Macaron, the cupcakes, and the lemon bars.

A runner up would be the Main Street Bakery or Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Pig Cafe. Both are Starbucks locations, so they feature the pastries you'd normally find in Starbucks, plus some Disney pastries.

For candies/sweets, I think my favorite is the Candy Palace on Main Street. Most of the candy stores feature very similar items, but there are a few unique items. The Candy Palace features whatever was made in the show kitchen that day (often it's English Toffee, which can be found at the other candy shops as well, but sometimes is other things, like the Nuttles!). Pooh's Corner features the Tigger Tails. Any of the shops have a number of yummies, such as the candy apples, chocolates, cake pops, etc. You really can't go wrong at any of them!

Each one is really good--you can't go wrong. Try them all!!

I was going to say the same thing!

Loved the Croissant Sandwich at La Brea in Downtown Disney
Macaroons and Cupcakes at Jolly Holiday
Tarts and Cookies at Fiddler
