We will be there with our 9 month old in July. Debating between Disney Junior, Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast. Or open to other suggestions as well!
I would think Disney Jr because those are characters the baby might "recognize." B&B and LM are going to be far away and not a catchy as the Disney Jr stuff.
Far away, as in far away from the rest of the park? Forgive me, I'm a total newbie. He hasn't had much exposure to any characters in general so I don't think he'd recognize any. Just want something that he may be able to sit through and enjoy!
D-Jr is interactive and you sit on the floor so you may have a little more freedom - he can sit/stand/dance/bounce around. Little Mermaid is theater style seating. Both are good to cool off in the AC. Beauty and the Beast is a covered, outside amphitheater.

We were there with our 9 month old daughter last year and she LOVED the Disney Junior show, even though she had never seen the characters. I think sitting on the floor with us and being able to bop around was perfect for her. Her 2 other favorites of the trip were It's a Small World and the Tiki Room at MK.

You don't really have to have a FP for Disney JR, but you might not just get to just walk in and sit in the back. They start you sitting in the front, and even though we've tried to sit middle or back, they will make you scoot forward if there's a big crowd to get everyone in. Your best bet is to just let people go in front of you, or be one of the last in if you want in the back.
