When I think of 80's songs, I think of my friends and I calling the radio station to request Def Leppards "Pour some sugar one me" over and over again. To this day when I hear that song I think happy thoughts.

Even though I'm not some big fan of Don Henley or the Eagles, one of the best songs from the 1980's is his song "The Boys of Summer". I have other artists from the era that I like better and listen to more, but that is a great song that really holds up .

I was a teenager in the '80s, but I don't even know some of the songs being mentioned on this thread so far. In the '80s I was more into British pop-rock/New Wave than hard rock.

Me, too. Well and punk and folk. I guess early 80's I was more into pop and some hard rock.

I know. It was tough for me, too, because I love 80's music, but that song just makes me so happy - I love it.
