Favor for future cruisers

I wondered if someone who is taking a cruise soon could pick up a polo shirt for me from one of the on board shops. I bought a shirt on the March 29th cruise, and when I took it out of my bag it had a stain on it that wouldn't come out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bill

Had a similar problem with a t-shirt I bought in Nassau. It got very stained and nothing worked. The shirt was washed and dried many times so the stains were VERY set in. I soaked it in the new Clorox Oxygen stuff. The shirt looks great. The white part is white again and the brightly colored design is still perfect. I did have to keep re-applying the solution - I laid shirt in bath tub and squirted a litlle on it every time I was near the bathroom. By morning it was clean. ...as an added note- This shirt cost 2.50 in that little marketplace in Nassau- but my son loved it. It probably cost me $10 in various cleaning stuff to clean it. But, the smile and enthusiastic thanks I got from a normally sarcastic college kid when he saw his clean shirt --- Priceless.

edith76...ok, we need more details on the cleaning stuff! my 2 yr old dd ruins everything!!! i would LOVE to find something that actually removes stains!

I was afraid being too off topic...and sounding like a commercial. The stuff I used was the Clorox brand oxygen cleaner. Its like Oxyclean. It comes in a plastic tub and you just mix the granules with warm water and pour it on. Seemed to do a better job than OxyClean on spots. I just followed the directions on the container except I let it soak overnight instead of 5-30 min.

Strange topic for the cruise boards, but I have really good luck in getting stains off WHITE clothing. Only WHITE! Pour a little liquid dishwasher (not regular) detergent on the stain, let it set for a few minutes, and then wash with other white clothes.

I'm stressing the white because I once (only once) tried it on a light blue shirt. The stain came out, and the light blue color came out.
