I have never been to DLP, and are considering a trip in July for 4 nights. So...

What are your favorite restaurants at DLP,lets says your Top 5? including TS, CS, hotels, the village, everywhere.

It's soo hard to pick, which to try, so I want to know what your top ones are!

I'll start the ball rolling for you by saying that we always eat at least once on each visit at:

  1. Walt's - An American Restaurant (Main St., U.S.A.) http://entertainment.disneylandparis.ie/restaurants-and-bars/restaurants/walts-american-restaurant.xhtml
  2. Rainforest Cafe (Disney Village) - http://entertainment.disneylandparis.ie/restaurants-and-bars/restaurants/rainforest-cafe.xhtml
  3. California Grill (The Disneyland Hotel) - http://entertainment.disneylandparis.ie/restaurants-and-bars/restaurants/california-grill.xhtml

for me there would be silver spur, rainforest, caseys (hotdogs, chicken nuggets) toad hall (fish and chips) and cafe mickey (character meal)

My top five restaurants at Disneyland Paris are:

- The California Grill: Located in the Disneyland Hotel. A lovely place to eat- It's a more upmarket eatery with great service, a high standard menu and a great wine list.

- Cafe Mickey: Disney Village. For all out Disney fun! Lunch or Dinner with the characters.... A lot of people seem to say the food isn't up to much here, but we always love the food and it's a really fab experience!

- The Chicago Steakhouse: Disney Village. Another more upmarket eatery, again with a lovely menu selection and a good wine list. On Sunday lunchtimes it becomes a buffet brunch with the characters, which is highly rated by many on these boards. We've only dined here in the evening and it's a lovely experience!

- The Rainforest Cafe: Disney Village. A fab place for a fun meal! Audio Animatronic Animals, lovely food and a nice selection of cocktails!

- The Blue Lagoon: Disneyland Park, Adventureland. We had a really enjoyable meal here on our last trip. It's lovely to eat 'in' the Pirates of the Carribean ride and the atmosphere is lovely. The menu offers some more unusual items- I enjoyed some Swordfish and my Fiance got to try Ostrich (Which he really really liked!)....

They're my top 5 at the moment!

One place I would advise avoiding personally is Planet Hollywood- We found it too crammed in (Practically sat on strangers laps!), food bog standard to pretty horrible, service not too good either. Very overpriced!

Have you checked out the restaurant reviews section near the top of the board? There's reviews of most restaurants in there, and some photos which might help you choose! :goodvibes

1 - Califonia Grill (if I could say this all 3 times I would!!!!)
2 - Inventions
3 - Walts (but the new menu isn't as good as its predecessor) so I might change my 3rd favourite to Cafe Mickey more for fun than food though.

1. The Steakhouse in the village
2. Cafe Mickey in the village
3. Walts in the main park

Haven't eaten at California Grill or Inventions, but have only ever heard great reviews about them :)

My family's top five are;
Walts
Inventions
Silver Spur
Ludwigs
The Steakhouse

On our next trip in April DD and I will be eating in California Grill and Agrabah Cafe and we are really looking forward to that!

It varies so much what the food is like. I've had great and terrible meals depending on who is cooking/serving at Blue Lagoon, Annettes and Casey's Corner.

As food is now so expensive for us Brits I prefer to pay a bit more and stick to the top end Restaurants :goodvibes

I was about to ask a similar question so this thread v interesting!

We generally eat at:
California Grill (once per trip, as am not made of money)
Rainforest Cafe (fun, nice food, great cocktails)
Annettes (cheap and cheerful)
Blue Lagoon (lovely atmosphere - but we always get 'table envy' as never at the front!)
Fuente del Oro (in Frontierland) - good, cheap, filling hot lunch that isn't a burger
Cafe des Cascadeurs (silver 'airstream' type trailer place in Studios)

I would like to do something different this time and will try the Silver Spur and the Steakhouse I think

Avoid Planet Hollywood.

Some of our favourites are:

Inventions (at DLH)
Really cool buffet, find it hard to get past the seafood!
Cafe Mickey (DV)
DDs favourite, but we all really enjoyed - going back for cake and birthday stuff soon.:cloud9:
Auberge de Cendrillion
Enjoy the food, the character interaction, the calm

On the less cultured side sitting on the kerb with a hot dog waiting for a parade / show has a certain atmospheric appeal!popcorn::

Inventions - A great selection of food and characters for the price charged
Blue Lagoon - Amazing Atmosphere
California Grill - Romantic
Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show - Entertainment & dinner!
Walts - It has to be done, esp when there is a parade on!

I hope this helps - have a fab time! :hippie:

Watching this thread with interest, we're off tomorrow and since we opted for HB Premium we can eat almost anywhere. Hoping to try a couple of places we've always walked away from thinking they were too expensive for our budget :wizard:

One of the restaurants at DLH
Maybe the Manhattan at HNY
Or Walt's?

We have to choose two, decisions, decisions :confused3

As does sitting by the lake with a takeaway from Annette's, even if you do find you have to share it with the birds :duck:

With HP Premium I'd say go for both DLH restaurants. Jack and I say already next time we go back, if it's for 3 nights we'll still only eat at DLH and do a CG/Inventions/CG meal plan!

But we will likely just do 2 night stay so we can get both restaurants in. :)
